Research On The Impact Of FDI Quality On The Green Total Factor Productivity Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry Of Liaoning Province

As a pillar industry of China's industrial economy,equipment manufacturing industry's green transformation and upgrading are of great significance to the development of China's national economy and the construction of ecological civilization.At the same time,equipment manufacturing is the basis of the national economy of Liaoning Province,especially the revitalization of the Northeast Industrial Base.At present,the overall strength of the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province is rising faster.However,its development still needs to rely on a large amount of resource factor input and extensive development based on scale expansion.This model has caused a lot of resource consumption and serious environmental pollution.FDI is one of the important engines of economic development.During the actual introduction process,China has exposed the problem of "quality" that only focuses on"quantity" and neglects the potential for environmental pollution.The question of how to introduce foreign capital greenly and focus on the quality of FDI has vital strategic significance.Through research,this paper finds that FDI quality mainly affects the industry's green development through three channels.However,different regions and different industries have different absorption capacities.Therefore,it has theoretical and practical significance to explore the impact of FDI quality on the green total factor productivity of the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province.This article starts with a theoretical level,and analyzes the specific mechanism of the impact of FDI quality on the GTFP of the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province,as well as the influencing factors of FDI quality itself.Then use the non-radial and non-directional SBM directional distance function and the Global Malmquist-Luenberger(GML)productivity index to measure the GTFP of the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province from 2002 to 2017.Through calculation,it is found that the overall GTFP of the equipment manufacturing industry has increased in recent years.Then choose 6 indicators of quality and quantity to measure the quality of FDI.After that,a system GMM dynamic panel regression model is built,and five instrumental variables of regional economic development,financial development level,R&D investment intensity,added value of foreign-funded enterprises and trade openness are selected for calculation.The regression shows that the quality of FDI and the added value of foreign-funded enterprises have a positive effect on the GTFP of the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province.The financial development level,R&D investment intensity and trade openness have a negative impact,and the regional economic development has no obvious impact.Finally,based on the regression results,this article gives the corresponding policy recommendations...
