Research On The Adaptive Micro-Renovation Of Public Space In Pingshan Village In Shenzhen Based On The Social Network Analysis

Urban village is a special product in the process of urbanization in China.Because of the weak management in many aspects,the urban village has become a "problem village",which restricts the development quality and construction order of the city.So,in many cities,the renovation of urban village has been carried out to varying degrees now.With the rapid development of urbanization,the influx of a large number of immigrants and the emigration of local residents lead to the changes of the social relations and life styles in urban village.As the material basis and space carrier of social network,the multiplex and heterogeneous residents put forward a new demand for the public space.However,the renovation of the public space in urban villages is mostly restricted by universal norms and provisions in China now.The emphasis of the renovation lies in the improvement of the quality of the material environment,the improvement of the public infrastructure and the economic value of the renovation,which often ignores the characteristics of daily activities of residents and the social network formed based on it,resulting in the renovation of the public space can not achieve the preset results after the renovation.Therefore,this study takes the public space in urban village as the research object.With the help of the theories and methods of social network,this study can deeply analyze the social factors behind the formation of the public space,and also provides a new theoretical perspective and research methods for the research of the public space in urban village.In this paper,the adaptive analysis framework of public space in urban village has been constructed based on the interaction logic of "social network--public activity--public space".Taking Pingshan village in Shenzhen as an example,data collection,statistics and social network analysis were carried out in this study from three levels: social network,public activity network and public space network.The results show that the social network of residents has the characteristics of high heterogeneity,vulnerability and de-regionalization.Under the influence of this kind of social network,residents' public activities are characterized by strong randomness,low intensity and small range of population.By comparing the public activity network with the public space network,this paper points out that the public space of Pingshan village has three problems: the insufficient of space structure,the failure and idleness of space function and the decay of the space environment.Finally,based on the goal of meeting the needs of residents' public activities to promote the integration and development of residents' social networks,this paper proposes that the adaptive micro-renovation of public space should follow the principles of integrity,adaptability,multiple symbiosis and safety and comfort,the adaptive micro-renovation should be carried out from the three aspects of structure optimization,function integration and environment improvement.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the research background,research status at home and abroad,research purpose and significance,research contents and methods,etc.In the second chapter,the types and characteristics of public space in urban village and the characteristics of the social network are clarified,which provides theoretical support for the establishment of the following analysis framework;In the third chapter,the adaptive analysis framework of public space in urban village has been constructed based on the interaction logic of "social network--public activity--public space" by sorting out the literature and combining the characteristics of the public space in urban village,the data types that need to be collected and the analysis indexes are defined aslo;The fourth chapter mainly discusses the adaptability and shortcomings of public space in Pingshan village through the actual investigation,data collection,statistics and social network analysis;The fifth chapter mainly proposes the principles and strategies of the adaptive micro-renovation of public space in urban village from the perspective of social network,and applies them to the renovation of Pingshan village.
