Steering system is one of the most important vehicle-mounted systems of an automobile.In order to improve the performance of steering system,many researchers have made a great number of studies in this field.As we known,Steering-By-Wire system(SBW)eliminates the mechanical connection between mechanical steering wheel and steering operator,it performs the steering function through controlling the electrical machine by electronic control unit instead.While performing the steering task,the Steering-By-Wire system needs to monitor the vehicle condition by reading the data recorded in vehicle sensor in a bid to ensure the functioning stability of steering system.In order to monitor the real time data of vehicle condition,it is essential to collect the real-time data reflecting the vehicle condition,thus providing a policy-making basis for the steering operation.First,the author introduces the operating principle of multi-sensor in SBW including angle sensor,voltage and current sensor,temperature and humidity sensor,vehicle speed sensor and tilt angle sensor,and then makes a detailed analysis on the model,property and data I/O model of the sensor;second,the author proposes to build a platform to control ECU based on STM32,offers a detailed description of each module in the system and collects real time data of steering wheel angle,vehicle speed,steering motor voltage,electricity current of steering motor,temperature and humidity and vehicle azimuth.Then,the author resorts to adaptive median filter and least-square curve fitting method to process the collected data.Next,the author designs a virtual interface and displays the data on the screen to realize human-machine interaction.At last,the author builds SBW experiment bench for the experiment of the system.According to the field debugging of the experiment bench,the SBW multi-sensor system of data acquisition designed in the research project is able to transmit the relevant physical quantities to the control center via data transmission.The data acquisition experiment is conducted on the SBW multi-sensor system of data collection assembled on the self-built experiment bench,and the author makes an analysis on the data deviation.The experiment proves the effectiveness of SBW multi-sensor system of data acquisition and attains the preliminary goal,making preparation for the upgrading of thesystem.
