Research On Design Strategy Of Typical Public Space In Liangxiang Urban District

Public space mainly includes open space surrounded by architectural groups in the city,natural landscape environment,squares,parks,etc.It is an open place for urban residents to provide public communication and hold various activities.The creation of places in public spaces is the basis and premise for ensuring the orderly conduct of activities and an important guarantee for maintaining the vitality of the city.Most of the current urban research focuses on first-line prosperous cities and rural areas that have not yet been reclaimed.Less attention is paid to small towns that have been developed early.After several years of economic development,population expansion,and changes in the needs of social functions,the existing public The space has been unable to meet the needs of local users,and the inappropriate site design has caused its vitality to be greatly reduced,and many spaces cannot be reasonably applied.Therefore,the construction of public spaces in small towns is a subject worth considering.This article takes Liangxiang Town,one of the early satellite cities developed in Beijing as an example,to investigate and study three important public spaces in its urban area,guided by place theory and connection theory,through preliminary research,field research and on-site interviews.Analyze and summarize the existing problems and factors influencing the vitality of public spaces in Liangxiang urban area.Through typical case analysis and user satisfaction survey,discuss the strategies and methods of reawakening the vitality of public spaces in small cities and towns,and propose three research targets Suggestions for modification provide reference suggestions for the construction of public spaces in other small towns in the future.
