Electromagnetic propulsion technology has the advantages of large thrust,large range of propulsion quality,high propulsion efficiency,simple and clean energy,low cost,excellent performance,diverse structure and good controllability.It has a good development in the future of national defense construction,scientific research,civil industry,aerospace and transportation and other fields.At present,the basic requirement of high-power pulse power supply that can meet the electromagnetic propulsion technology is that the transient power can reach GW level,and the pluse discharge time is about 10 ms.Its main development direction is to improve the energy storage density,accurate controllability and repetition frequency of pulse power supply.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:?1?This paper introduces the composition and principle of the capacitor energy storage pulse power supply system,and analyzes the basic functions and technical requirements of the charging and discharging part of the electromagnetic propulsion pulse power supply.?2?Based on the theoretical analysis of capacitor charging process and the comparison of various charging methods,LC series resonant charging circuit is used as the charging part of electromagnetic propulsion pulse power supply.The isolated gate bipolar transistor is selected as the power switch.By analyzing the parameters of the electromagnetic propulsion pulse power supply in this study,the driving signal is generated by using EXB841,and the appropriate series resonant charging power circuit is selected.?3?The analysis of the discharge process of the capacitor leads to the function and performance requirements of the high-power semiconductor device in the discharge process of the high-capacity capacitor.Based on the analysis and summary of the series power semiconductor voltage sharing driving methods,a new single pulse driving mode is proposed.Use STM32 F series to generate driving signal.The discharge part of an electromagnetic propulsion pulse power supply is designed by using a single pulse driving series thyristor.?4?In this paper,mulitisim software is used to simulate and verify the driving voltage balancing effect of the single pulse driving circuit in the series switch,and the single module and multi module discharge simulation analysis of the designed electromagnetic propulsion pulse power supply is carried out to verify the feasibility of the design of the electromagnetic propulsion pulse power supply.According to the results of design and simulation,a discharge part of 100 k J electromagnetic propulsion pulse power supply is built.The pulse power supply can achieve the energy storage density of 0.8k J · kg-1,power density of 8000 k W · kg-1,pulse width of 0.1-0.5?s and Energy storage voltage of 10 k V.
