Research On The Design Of Humanized Living Street Space

As a linear channel,the street provides a traffic path for people and vehicles in the city;as a public space,it provides a place for citizens’ cultural activities.The multiple functional attributes of the street are the root cause of its spatial complexity and dynamics.However,as the urbanization process continues to accelerate,today’s urban planning pays too much attention to the traffic function of the street and ignores its function as a place for citizens to communicate with each other.Fast-moving vehicles threaten the safety of pedestrians and the vitality of the streets has been lost.In recent years,with the continuous improvement of material life,people are constantly exploring the development of humanization while pursuing practicality.At the same time,in 2016,the State Council issued a document advocating the promotion of the block system and the opening of established settlements.The implementation of the block system provides an opportunity for the development of humanized street space.In this context,we need to pay more attention to the post-opening What should I do with living streets? How to achieve comprehensive development of street space,so that it can reshape humanity street space at the same time meet the needs of people’s daily lives.The thesis is based on the relevant research of domestic and foreign scholars on the block system and living streets,combined with my daily observation and understanding of the street space,and believes that in the context of humanization,the opening of living streets in residential areas not only involves transportation planning,but also It is a social issue related to the healthy development of cities,the shaping of neighbourhood vitality,and the return of street life.In this thesis,investigating two highly representative living streets located in residential areas in Hefei,starting with the spatial form,greening and public service facilities,functional formats,and main street activities,summarizing the characteristics of the streets and analyzing the impact Factors of spatial vitality.Aiming at the compositional characteristics of various spaces in daily streets and the daily activities of residents,combining street traffic organizations and the living needs of the crowd,the status quo of daily streets is summarized;the design framework for the renovation of daily streets is constructed to propose the reproduction of life rhythm and original street The four transformation principles of continuation of style,function diversification,and universality of examples.At the same time,from the aspects of optimizing traffic organization,coordinating static traffic,improving street facilities,activating street public space,and updating the interface along the street,the design of the target range east road was launched.On the premise of satisfying the normal traffic of the street,it will improve the comfort of the pedestrian space on the street,enhance the atmosphere of street life,and reshape the humanized street space.
