Promoting renewable energy generation is an important foundation for the coordinated development of China's economic growth and environmental protection, and is an important choice for China to promote energy transformation.Among the current renewable energy generation methods in China, there are four ways of technology maturity, high degree of commercialization, and universal applicability: wind power generation, photovoltaic power generation, wind and solar hybrid power generation, and wind and light storage combined power generation. The most important reference for investors to choose which power generation method is the cost-effectiveness of electricity generation. Therefore, this paper uses the full life cycle method to divide the life cycle of renewable energy power generation projects into financing construction period, operation and maintenance period, and retirement period. Then use the dynamic straight power supply cost method to analyze the system cost and non-system cost of four different power generation ways one by one.By constructing a cost-benefit model, the economic and environmental benefits of each mode are compared. The sensitivity analysis of the factors that cause different power generation efficiency is found. The main factors of cost-effectiveness are on-grid electricity price, initial equipment investment cost, and available resources. Finally, taking Zhangjiakou as an example,a case study is carried out.The results show that investors can find efficient ways to generate renewable energy by combining local resources and adapting to local conditions. In Zhangjiakou,if only economic benefits are considered, investors should choose photovoltaic power generation;when considering environmental benefits, wind power generation should be preferred;the application of energy storage can make up for the shortcomings of wind-solar hybrid power generation mode, after reducing energy storage costs, the wind and light storage combined power generation mode will become an important choice for future renewable energy generation.
