Nursing Unit Of Children’s Hospital For Quality Nursing Servise Space Design Research

With the development of society and economy and the improvement of Chinese health policies,the environment and nursing care of children`s hospitals have drawn increasing attention from different sectors of society.Under the background of the new health-care reform in China,the concept of quality nursing care is put forward,aiming to provide a good medical environment and atmosphere for sick children and their families as well as reduce the pressure of medical staff in children`s hospitals so that they can better contribute to children`s health.Focusing on quality nursing care,this thesis offers an interdisciplinary study on the application of quality nursing care to the design of children`s hospitals,based on theories of related disciplines such as nursing psychology,nursing aesthetics,and interior design,aiming to explore unique design schemes suited to Chinese children`s hospital with quality nursing care.Guided by nursing and medicine theories,this thesis employs an interdisciplinary method to understand the development of nursing and requirement for quality nursing care,after on-site inspection to children`s hospitals,research on the demands of medical staff and patients,and exploration of the current situation of medical resources for children and nursing units in China.It gives a detailed analysis of the examples of excellent designs of children`s hospitals in China and abroad and puts forward the space design schemes of children`s hospitals with quality nursing care.This thesis starts with the introduction to the background,purpose,and significance of the study and the current situation of research on children nursingunits at home and abroad,followed by a review of the development of nursing and an in-depth discussion about the demands for quality nursing care,as well as the classification,scale,and composition of nursing units.Through comparison between the examples of excellent designs of children`s hospitals in China and other countries,it investigates the problems of nursing units in Chinese children`s hospitals,predicts the future trend of nursing units in Chinese children`s hospitals,and proposes specific solutions to the problems.It applies the concept of quality nursing to the design of nursing units that meet the psychological demands of patients,families,and medical staff.Eventually,the author employs this concept to real design cases,hoping that this study will draw the attention of society to children and will help deepen the new health-care reform in China,improve the health system,and provide reference for the design of children`s hospitals in the future.
