Study On Facade Decoration Design Of Jilin Section Of Chinese Eastern Railway Buildings

The Chinese Eastern Railway building is an important architectural cultural remnant of the modern history of the Northeast region.It has experienced a century-long construction and historical evolution.It has a profound impact on the development of modern Northeast architecture,local social changes,and residents’ lives.The Chinese Eastern Railway construction is the product of the collision of Western architectural thought and Chinese culture in the late 19 th and early 20 th centuries,condensing the construction wisdom of Chinese and Russian construction engineers.Facade decoration as the most intuitive embodiment of the building to the outside world,it reflects this special historical period,the development trend and aesthetic tendency of western architectural civilization in the eastern European continent,and brought new architectural art forms to northeast China.This article takes Russian architecture in the Jilin section of the Chinese Eastern Railway as the main research object.After a large number of field investigations,it studies the style characteristics and detailed practices of the facade decoration,and summarizes them.Based on the "General Protection Plan for the Chinese Eastern Railway Building Group(Jilin Section)",combined with the literature survey method,field survey method,typological research,and semiotic research,firstly summarize the decorative features of the facade from the architectural details,and then from the roof decoration of the building.The angles of building wall decoration and building door and window decoration were studied in detail respectively;secondly,the influence of materials on the facade decoration effect was analyzed from the perspective of building materials,the beauty of materials "nature",and the "Additional value";Finally,the design and application of the building facade decoration restoration and construction protection in the Jilin section of the Chinese Eastern Railway are proposed.Taking the repair design of the Chinese Eastern Railway Kuanchengzi Tsarist Club as an example,the practical application method of the building decoration protection and repair in the Chinese Eastern Railway is discussed.The innovation points of this thesis is to study the decoration of the facade of the Jilin Section of the Chinese Eastern Railway,and conducts an inductive study on the decorative features,methods,and forms.It is intended to enrich the research system of the Jilin Section of the Chinese Eastern Railway and provide reference for repair directions and building protection basis for later building protection planning.Good protection and utilization of the precious Chinese Eastern Railway heritage has theoretical and practical significance.
