Accelerated development of an aging population impact of pension concept andmode. Faced with the condition of "old before getting rich", how to deal with thecoming "silver tide" and the problem of caring for the elderly has become a challengeand an urgent need to solve. The rapid growth in demand and changes in population andfamily structure make Home care and Institutional Care face difficulties. Community home care is in our pension systemafter the reform of the pension model advocated, which relieving agencies andstate owned pension family pension pressure plenty. Day care center for communityelderly is an important part of community facilities for the elderly. It mantlyproviding day care services for vulnerable groups of the elderly that is the seniorcitizens lacking of care during the day and the semi - disabled elderly. Day carecenter for community elderly is still in the stage of promotion in various cities of China.There is an urgent demand for the use and high research value.The first chapter is introduction, This paper takes theCommunity Day-care Center in ChenDu as the research object, which involve in-depth observation ofand investigation into daily life behaviors of the aged, analysis of behavioral characteristics of those in various health stages, and the influences of different spatial. For the elderly \"arrival and departure\", \"walk and exploration\", \"daily communication activities\" behavior such as system and the corresponding spatial pattern analysis, and combined with domestic and foreign advanced concepts and successful cases, targeted to explore community day care center design method and design points.analysis of behavioral characteristics of those in various health stages, and the influences of different spatialrelations created by facilities upon their behaviors. On the basis thereof, suggestions on spatial formation, spatial relations and key points for designing respectivespaces of day care centers for the aged in communities are put forward.The dissertation combines the national standards and specific reality of ChenDu, and determines community as the basic unit of a day care center for theelderly. in the hope of rendering a referential basis for future designing thereof in a proper manner.
