With the increasingly fierce competition,the global construction industry is moving towards to the direction of low energy consumption,low pollution,informatization and comprehensive sustainable.The traditional architect design,construction and supervision methods can no longer meet the current requirements.therefore,BIM technology was brought into being.In this paper,5D BIM technology is introduced on the basis of the traditional management mode in view of the existing problems in the construction progress and cost management of domestic engineering projects.This paper analyzes the effect of 5D BIM technology in different stages of project,including design,construction and operation and maintenance,as well as introducing the related software.Through paying close attention to the two goals of project management as progress and cost,three application stages from 3D BIM to 5D BIM are expatiated and analyzed systematically.In addition to theoretical research,this paper also builds a dynamic 5D BIM model of the renovation project of Changde Taohuayuan Airport in Hunan Province.By using this 5D BIM model,this paper achieved the dynamic query of construction quantity,tracking and comparison of cost and schedule,and optimization of construction resources and construction schedule simulation and project cost control.At last,the paper compares the application effect of 5D BIM technology and traditional engineering management technology,finds out that 5D BIM technology has significant advantages in terms of progress tracking,cost monitoring,resource management optimization,and schedule-cost management processes.Therefore,the 5D BIM technology is surely a inevitable trend of future project management.The main work done in this paper is as follows:1.Through reading and collecting a large number of papers,the author analyzed the current situation of China's current project schedule – both cost management and BIM technology,find out that 5D BIM technology in the current construction industry in our country has a broad development prospect,and is worth further study.2.The theory research on the application of 5D BIM technology in the project schedule-cost control.Based on the current status of the construction management of our country,the 5D BIM technology applied to the project schedule-cost control and the difficulties feasibility of application of are analyzed and explored,provided a theoretical premise for the practical application of the 5D BIM technology.3.This paper also discussed the establishment and implementation process of 5D BIM model.This paper mainly studies the requirements of the software and the key steps in the modeling establishment of 5D BIM model,and how to use the model to achieve construction management,including progress tracking,cost control,project management of resource arrangement,etc.Except this,the paper also expounds the correlation between the 3D model file information,schedule file,and the valuation principle,realizes the fast calculation and sharing of information resources construction,therefore help determined the application strategies of 5D BIM technology in the construction project schedule-cost management.4.Practically applicants the 5D BIM technology to a real project----the renovation project of Changde Taohuayuan Airport in Hunan Province by using its engineering data.The project's 5D BIM model is established,and further examined the 5D BIM software implementation process of the model.At the same time,by using the model,the project construction progress tracking,cost,real-time monitoring,resource usage,and optimizing the allocation of cost and schedule-has made the further application and explore joint control analysis,all with the using of 5D BIM technology to achieve the joint control of the project schedule-cost.Through the combination with instance,the use of specific engineering data calculation and analysis,the application of 5D BIM technology made more intuitively and more in-depth interpretation of the overall concept and application framework.5.At final,the application effects of 5D BIM technology are analyzed.By applying the 5D BIM technology in the renovation project of Changde Taohuayuan Airport in Hunan Province and the application of the author and other experts and scholars of experience and research results,analysis of other project data,the application effect of 5D BIM model are summarized and analyzed.
