Design Strategy On The Special Spaces Of Broadcasting And Television Headquarters

Media technology and Communication technology has been updating due to the emergence of digital technology.While the internet is developing dramatically as a result of digital technology,the boundaries among traditional media are disappearing.Media is becoming more and more diverse as been mixed up.The rapid growth of new media has an impact on the traditional media,which has declined seriously,thus leading to the transformation of traditional media.Therefore,traditional media and new media are integrated,which promotes the era of ‘fusion media'.In addition,it contributes to the development of new media that the audience's demand has become the most importance element.In summary,the ‘fusion media' era has arrived.Based on the Yangzhou Broadcasting and Television Headquarter,this paper comprehensively applies literature reading,case analysis and field research on the basis of the analysis of the nature,causes,influence and design requirements of ‘fusion media'era as well as the demands of broadcasting and television buildings.The project focuses on the design methods of the special spaces of broadcasting and television buildings in the “fusion media”era.This paper starts with the method of designing the layout of broadcasting and television buildings.Firstly,this paper talks about the functions and layout of the broadcasting and television buildings.Secondly,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the special spaces of broadcasting and television buildings as well as the the requirements of functions at the background of “fusion media ”era.Thirdly,this paper talks about the methods of designing broadcasting and television buildings via case study,which are mainly divided into three categories:internal public spaces,professional spaces and external spaces.At last,this paper presents the project of the Broadcasting and television Headquarter in Yangzhou,which the author is involved in,as a response to the design methods of the special spaces of broadcasting and television headquarters.
