The Chengqin Expressway is an important part of the Qinhuangdao and Chengde highway networks,which plays a necessary role in promoting regional ties and enhancing tourism.Therefore,the operation status of Chengqin Expressway toll station,the needs and incentive expectations of employees are studied.The development of scientific incentives has important application value for improving the operation efficiency and service quality of Chengqin Expressway,and can also provide an important practical basis for improving the highway management level in Hebei Province.This paper took the toll station of Chengqin Expressway as a case,using interviews and questionnaire analysis methods,based on the five needs of Maslow’s demand theory,conducted a demand survey on the employees of various toll stations of the Chengqin Expressway Management Office.According to survey and the results of interviews,this paper analyzed satisfaction of the toll station staff on the current issues and incentive measures,and summed up the Chengqin Expressway toll station staff was highly required to the healthy living and earning more money.The needs of employees were mainly physiological needs,followed by emotional belonging needs.The toll booth staff had lower overall satisfaction and the expected value was low.The four incentives that employees most expect were: incentive expectations to improve remuneration packages,provide superior working conditions,improve welfare leave systems,and ensure job stability.According to the research results,the analysis of the work salary,vacation system is not perfect and communication between the top and bottom,the lack of collective consciousness and the lack of activity reward platform were the most concerned several key issues.Throughout the analysis of incentive expectations of highway toll stations,the article proposes corresponding measures,such as improving vacations and compensation system to meet the “physical and safety needs of employees”,participating in the rationalization of management operations,providing training,and strengthening internal communication.Meet the “emotional needs” of employees,build a good platform for improvement and establish a good competitive mechanism,participate in multiple activities and praise incentives to meet the “respect and self-fulfillment needs of employees”.
