Container ports are the important nodes of global trade logistics,and their passing capacity is closely related to the reliability of the handling system.The container terminal handling system is composed of large equipment with different types,quantities and values.With the continuous loading and unloading activities at the wharf,the equipment performance changes constantly and shows various operating states,which makes the handling system show complex multi-state characteristics and affects the reliability of the wharf’s production and operation.Based on the multi-state reliability theory and system simulation technology,this thesis conducts an in-depth study on the multi-state reliability of the container terminal handling system through formal analysis and the simulation test.And the following results have been achieved:(1)The basic theory of multi-state reliability of container terminal handling system is studied.Based on the structure and function of the handling system,this thesis defines the concept of the reliability of the handling system with the connotation,and expounds the influencing factors and indicators of the reliability of the handling system.Based on the theory of multi-state system,the operation states of the equipment and the whole handling system are divided,and the transfer rules among the states are analyzed.(2)The formalized analysis of multi-state reliability of container terminal handling system is completed.Based on the stochastic process theory,a formalized model of handling system reliability is established,and the reliability of container terminal handling system is quantitatively measured through the state probability matrix.Through case study,the progressive change process of state performance at all levels of handling system is analyzed,and the limitation of the formal analysis method in state space is pointed out.(3)A simulation method for multi-state reliability analysis of container terminal handling system is proposed.Based on the theory of system simulation and demand of reliability analysis,a conceptual model is set up to describe the mutual relationship between flow model of the order and the failure during wharf operation.On this basis,the multi-state reliability analysis simulation model of the container terminal handling system is established.The simulation model can reflect the production and operation activities and troubleshooting activities,and realize the reliability of the quantitative measure.(4)Combining with the wharf engineering practice,the optimal configuration of container handling equipment is studied.Based on simulation model and wharf drawings,design a simulation test scheme.Under the same input conditions of operation flow and failure flow,the simulation test is carried out to study the effect of terminal equipment quantity configuration on the handling system.Through the test data analysis,the optimization scheme of handling equipment configuration is obtained,and the engineering application value of the reliability of the simulation model is verified.The research results of this thesis provide theoretical reference for reliability evaluation of container terminal handling system.At the same time,they expand the research idea of solving engineering practical problems through reliability analysis of container terminal handling system,which have important academic significance and engineering application value.
