With the rapid development of container transportation, to improve the handlingefficiency of automated container terminal has become a problem urgent to solve.Butthe key to improve container handling efficiency is to improve the efficiency ofhandling equipment. With the large container ships,the large-scale shore containercrane as unloading equipment shore type container crane has become an inevitabletrend. Handling device is more efficient at present, nothing can replace the loadingbridge, but the crane itself has a variety of improved scheme.Through the analysis and research of the automated container terminal at homeand abroad, we try to explore new type of handling process. New type quaysidecontainer crane can reduce the times of sling and the ship container alignment, itmeans reduce auxiliary operation time, reduce auxiliary operation time, with doublebeam structure, using the trolley for container in horizontal transportation, avoid thetraditional wire rope sling with the deflection and vibration. Calculation results ofhandling efficiency compared with conventional quayside container crane, hasobviously improved. Specific studies and research results in this paper are as follows:(1)The exploration of new techniques: through the introduction of automatedcontainer terminal, analyzes its automated container terminal handling technologysystem. Explores a new handling technology, introduces its main operation mode.Compared with traditional handling plan, new techniques reduce the alignment timesbetween shore container spreaders and container on the ship. Using the trolleytransport container in horizontal transportation, prevents the wire rope sling thedeflection and vibration in the movement of the swing and vibration. It has greatadvantages.(2)The determination of auxiliary operation time, and the calculation andcomparison of operation efficiency between the common quayside container craneand the new type quayside container crane: the actual investigation in ShanghaiWaigaoqiao container terminal, through the analysis of the collected data, determinedthe appropriate shore container auxiliary operation time. A full container ship on thedischarging operation efficiency of container stowage surface for example, gives handling efficiency calculation formula of single trolley quayside container crane anddouble trolley quayside container crane.Calculate the common quayside containercrane and new type quayside container crane handling efficiency, according to thecomparison of the calculation results, analysis the advantages and disadvantages ofnew type quayside container crane.(3) Simulation analysis of the new type quayside container crane work efficiency:taking eM-Plant as the platform, use the same parameters,simulation calculation theoperation efficiency of the new type shore container crane,and expound thesimulation results.
