Museums are rich in cultural resources,are the important cultural accumulation records of human history,the development of museum cultural and creative product design is an important connection between visitors and cultural relics of museum,not only the historical and cultural elements can be more homely and functional,but also the historical spirit and artistic culture can be disseminated virtually.Narrative theory has been widely discussed in western literary theory circles since the 1960 s,and narrative product design is one of the important design techniques in the development of product semantics.This dissertation introduces the narrative theory into the design of cultural and creative products of museums,analyzes the narrative principle of cultural and creative products of museums from the perspective of narratology,and systematically analyzes the narrative expression of design in cultural and creative products of museums through the flexible combination of narratology,museology,product design,marketing and other relevant disciplines.This dissertation firstly introduces the definition of cultural and creative products of museums and narrative design,as well as analyzing the related design in the field of narrative design by giving examples,expounds the necessity of designing cultural and creative products of museums in a narrative way.Secondly,this dissertation creatively combined cultural and creative product design of museums with "narrative sequence" which was put forward by the French narratologist C·Bremond,and proposes the principle and method of cultural and creative product design of museums,moreover,the dissertation analyzes the narrative construction process of cultural and creative products of museums one by one from three dimensions(narrative content,narrative audience and narrative channel).Lastly,the dissertation summarizes the main problems existing in Nanjing museum at the current stage through analysis and research on cultural resources and the design and development status of cultural and creative products.According to the analysis results,this dissertation puts forward the development strategy of cultural and creative products design in line with Nanjing museum from the three aspects of cultural and creative products(narrative theme,narrative object and narrative channel),and distils out the basic principles of cultural and creative products design in Nanjing museum and design methods that are helpful to the development of cultural and creative products design.The dissertation verifies the basic design principles and methods proposed in this dissertation through the specific cultural and creative product design practice according to the actual situation of Nanjing museum,which has certain practical guiding significance for the design of cultural and creative products of Nanjing museum.
