Research On The Impact Of Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Rail On Regional Economy

China's transportation industry has developed rapidly in recent years,and the relationship between China's economic development and the transportation industry has become increasingly close.The vigorous development of the transportation industry has greatly promoted economic progress.However,China has little knowledge of the relationship between the transportation industry and the economic impact.Facing the impact of the rapid development of high-speed railway on China,it is urgent to study the relationship between economy and transportation.We need to recognize the impact of the development of high-speed railway on the economy and develop the transportation industry in China better.Firstly,this paper introduces the related theories,including growth pole theory,new economic geography,growth axis theory,and transportation and regional economic development theories,including network development theory,transportation channel theory,and the micro mechanism of high-speed rail's influence on regional economy,including the change of accessibility after the emergence of high-speed rail,and the flow of high-speed rail to factors.The promotion of sex,the extrusion of high-speed rail to other modes of transportation,the guidance of high-speed rail to traffic demand,and the progressive transmission mechanism of high-speed rail's influence on regional economy include the promotion of high-speed rail to regional economy,the adjustment of high-speed rail to industrial structure,and the optimization of high-speed rail to urban space.Then it explains the quantitative analysis method of Shanghai Kunming high-speed railway for regional economic growth.First,it briefly introduces the dual difference model and accessibility model,and then explains the main index sources of the dual difference model.Finally,taking the example of Shanghai Kunming high-speed railway,using the double difference method,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the impact of the construction of Shanghai Kunming high-speed railway on the regional economic growth rate,regional accessibility along the line,regional economic structure along the line and the income gap between urban and rural areas along the line.Through the analysis of the influence of the development of high-speed railway on the above four indexes,this paper finds that the opening of high-speed railway improves the regional accessibility of Hunan Province,promotes the mobility between regions,and plays a good role in promoting the economic development.Moreover,the development of high-speed railway brings certain impact to other transportation industries,and promotes the whole transportation network.Better development of collaterals.In general,the construction of high-speed railway has a positive impact on regional economic development.
