With the global climate change,population growth and urban environmental deterioration and expansion,the problem of energy shortage has become increasingly prominent,"green" and "sustainable" has become a new concept of development recognized by the world.One of the scientific levels of human settlements is settlements,which is also the basic link of a city.It can connect the macro-ecological city with the micro-level green buildings,form the human habitat at at the meso-level,reduce the energy use level of residential buildings,strengthen the residential environment of the community,and guarantee the green development of the city.In order to ensure the ecological sustainability of residential areas,this paper starts from architecture,integrates the theory of ecology,sustainable development and system theory,and establishes the design system of urban green residential areas through three ways: technical route,design method and auxiliary means.Systematic research and careful combing of the relationship between the endogenous and exogenous cycles of the district ecosystem,according to the logical development sequence of four steps of problem exploration-analysis-extraction-research-solution-case citation,this paper clarifies the general situation in the design of green residential areas in Xi'an at the present stage,makes in-depth analysis of the causes of the problems,and synthesizes the international advances.The concept of development,explore the design of green residential areas,and strive to promote the sustainable development process of Xi'an urban residential areas.The article is divided into four parts.The first part is to explore the origin of the problem.Firstly,on the basis of distinguishing various definitions of ecological building,low-carbon building and green building,the definition,connotation and basic characteristics of green house are abstracted.Then it analyses the evolution of Chinese and Western ecological values and constructs multi-dimensional ecological values.Finally,the urban "disease" related to residential development is analyzed and diagnosed,which provides basic information for the next research.The second part is the analysis and extraction.On the basis of understanding the concept and evaluation criteria of green building,the author makes a detailed investigation on the typical residential areas in the main urban area of Xi'an.Starting from the characteristics of the city,this paper studies the basic conditions of geographical environment,climatic conditions,ecological resources and so on.Then,by discussing the construction history,development characteristics and types of residential areas in the main urban area of Xi'an,it summarizes the basic situation of residential areas in Xi'an and the basic conditions for building green residential areas.Finally,on the basis of summing up the previous research,it formulates the view of green residential areas to the west.The strategy,scope,content and method of investigating the current situation of residential areas in Anzhu City.In the process of investigation,the development status and conditions of green residential areas in Xi'an are deeply analyzed.The third part is to study and solve,this section mainly from the overall layout,household design analysis,traffic system analysis,landscape design,outdoor environment,energy system,water resources,materials and other aspects of the main urban area of Xi'an green residential design strategy in the design stage.When designing,we should pay attention to the connection function of sites,build a good living environment of residential areas from the whole point of view,and pay attention to the advantages of the project location in architectural design.From the perspective of plane,three-dimensional and section,we should focus on improving the value of residential buildings in sunshine,lighting,ventilation and thermal engineering.When designing landscape,we should make full use of our own advantages to create high-quality three-dimensional.Scenery.In the use of ecological resources,we also pay attention to the management of residential areas,and further explore how to make full use of renewable resources.The fourth part is the case citation,that is,using the research method of combining theory with practice,from the perspective of green residential areas,the case analysis of Xi'an Green Land Chanba Project.Based on the actual situation of the site,this paper points out the green building strategies that need to be used in the design of green residential areas in Xi'an,and demonstrates the rationality,operability and scientificity of the ecological design model of green residential buildings.
