DC power supply is widely used in daily life and industrial production.The quality of power products is directly related to the reputation of power manufacturers and user experience.Therefore,a series of scientific power product tests are effective means to ensure product quality.According to the technical standard,a variety of testing methods can be used to verify whether the performance of the power supply product conforms to the technical standard,and the performance of the power supply product can be judged.Power supply performance testing through a variety of power supply testing equipment,perfect testing technology to complete.Reliable detection accuracy is of great significance to the improvement of power supply products and the development of quality level in the power industry.The test of dc power supply can be divided into two categories according to the general specification of DC steady state power supply: normal characteristic parameters and transient characteristic parameters.Since transient parameter testing requires higher resolution,instruments that can satisfy transient characteristic parameter testing are also applicable to normal characteristic parameters.When testing transient characteristic parameters,the following items shall be tested: power transient response(including source transient response,load transient response,startup transient,shutdown transient,short circuit test)and power protection test,etc.The DC power tester studied in this paper is a characteristic instrument for analyzing the transient characteristics of DC power supply.Its main application is to test the transient characteristics of the DC power supply under the real load condition.In this paper,the transient response test of DC power supply is studied.The overall software scheme of the DC power tester is designed.The architecture of acquisition board card +FPGA+ARM+ upper computer.In this scheme,voltage and current pass through acquisition board card,FPGA is responsible for data processing of acquisition board card,ARM is used as the transfer of USB transmission development,and upper computer is responsible for final data analysis.First,the design and realization of the function of the driving module of the next computer are completed.According to the USB transmission protocol,the USB firmware development system is adopted.The definition and interaction flow of communication instructions of application layer protocol module are designed.Then,complete the upper part of the drive design.Includes the USB drive and the board card drive two layers.The software program of the board driver is divided into acquisition control,zoom control,trigger control and calibration control.The overall use of hierarchical structure to achieve a clear structure,easy to expand and maintain.Then,the transient signal measurement function of the DC power supply tester is completed.According to different types of test items and different categories of test items,specific algorithms are used to implement and complete the data extraction function.Finally,the DC power tester will be used to test the system function and performance on the actual platform.The test results show that the designed USB2.0 driver module can carry out effective data transmission,the DC power tester’s various functions of acquisition,scaling,triggering and calibration work normally,and the transient signal analysis module can meet the design requirements when testing the transient signal.
