The development and utilization of underground space has positive significance and role in promoting the sustainable development of the city,building a resourcesaving and harmonious city,a compact three-dimensional city and an environmentfriendly and livable city.At present,megacities in China have entered the stage of environment and deepening demand from the stage of municipal function demand and traffic function demand.At the same time,the academic research on the physical and psychological environment quality of underground space is increasingly rich.The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between the material of underground street interface and the sense of scale,and the impact of the above two on the overall spatial perception,and to add whether the material of underground street interface can achieve its impact on the sense of scale by influencing the spatial scale visual estimation.Finally,the feasible design suggestions on the interface material design of underground street are formed.The research is divided into four parts.The first part is the current situation and theoretical research,the second part is the experimental part of spatial perception,the third part is the data statistical analysis part,the fourth part is the research conclusion and design suggestions part.In this study,the interface materials of many underground streets at home and abroad are investigated,and their physical properties are summarized.According to the theory of space perception,environmental psychology and architectural design,with the help of VR platform,we can quickly and efficiently simulate the advantages of visual effects of various materials in the space,and build a series of underground street experimental scenes with different physical characteristics interface materials to carry out space perception(experiment a)and scale estimation(Experiment B)experiments.Based on the statistical analysis of the experimental data,this paper explores the relationship among interface material,scale sense,spatial perception and whether interface material is related to scale estimation.Experiment A explored the relationship among interface material,scale sense and spatial perception.Through the above experimental methods,in addition to building a regression function model between the three dimensions of spatial perception,interface perception and scale perception,the correlation between the physical characteristics of interface materials and the three dimensions of spatial perception is clarified.Experiment B explores the relationship between interface material and scale estimation.Through the above experimental methods,it is proved that there is no correlation between interface material and scale estimation,that is,the influence of interface material on scale sense is not produced by influencing scale estimation.Based on the experimental results,this study attempts to provide possible design strategies and suggestions for the design of underground street interface to achieve the desired spatial psychological perception effect and scale sense.There are 65 figures,45 tables and 86 references in this paper.
