With the development of train communication network(TCN)technology in the train communication field,TCN has become an essential product in the development of the train industry,which is an essential part to ensure the effectiveness,safety and passenger comfort of train control.However,with the further study of network control technology,the limitations of producing TCN high-end products began to emerge,especially in the independent development and production of TCN gateways,we still have a certain gap with foreign advanced technology.Therefore,researching a diversified,high-performance,lowcost,easy-to-operate train communication gateway with independent property rights is of great significance to TCN technology and development of the train industry in China.At the same time,in recent years,the advantages of industrial Ethernet in control network are more and more obvious,seamless connection between industrial Ethernet technology and fieldbus technology has become a new development direction of train network control system.Therefore,this thesis studies and designs a train communication gateway between industrial Ethernet EtherCAT and multifunctional vehicle bus(MVB)based on embedded system.In this thesis,we present a scheme for interconnection and interworking between EtherCAT and MVB bus data,and achieve the conversion of EtherCAT and MVB bus data packets.In the design process,analyze the concrete realization of EtherCAT-MVB gateway.Firstly,we introduce the MVB bus and the EtherCAT industrial Ethernet protocol and their working principles in detail.Propose the application of intelligent optimization algorithms to the industrial Ethernet protocol,which effectively improves the transmission rate of Ethernet data packets at the link layer.We construct a train Ethernet topology network structure model and analyze the performance under different extended network models.Propose an EtherCAT-MVB gateway design scheme based on AM3358 as the core processor.The entire gateway hardware system is divided into multiple modules,including embedded core modules,peripheral circuit modules,MVB bus modules.We design the circuit diagram of the peripheral circuit module,and realize the data forwarding and conversion function between EtherCAT and MVB through the overall design of the gateway software.Finally,the EtherCAT-MVB gateway hardware system was tested for communication,and the EtherCAT module and MVB module were tested for data communication,respectively,which verified the feasibility and rationality of the scheme.Finally,we carry out the communication test of EtherCAT-MVB gateway hardware system,and the EtherCAT module and MVB module are tested for data communication respectively,which verified the feasibility and rationality of the scheme.
