The rapid development of the urban public transportation system puts forward higher requirements on the handling stability and driving safety of vehicles.The multi-group articulated automobile train has the advantages of large passenger capacity,low cost,high transportation efficiency,etc.It is a newly emerging public transportation.The multi-group articulated passenger car is a vehicle composed of a tractor and a multi-section trailer.Due to the mutual movement between the body units,the vehicle may have many instability during driving,such as: tail flick,folding And the instability phenomena such as lateral swing vibration.Therefore,it is necessary to study the handling stability of articulated buses with multiple consist.Based on the vehicle system dynamics,on the basis of the domestic and foreign evaluation methods for the stability of single and multi-body vehicles,the evaluation method and evaluation index of articulated vehicle train handling stability are determined for the characteristics of the train;The yaw motion and lateral motion of the car body unit simplify the articulated car train as a multi-rigid body dynamic model,and use the ADAMS simulation software to build the articulated car train body,steering system,suspension and other subsystems Build a model of the articulated car train;in the analysis of handling stability,this paper firstly conducts a theoretical analysis of the vehicle and points out several major instability phenomena of the train;secondly,constructs straight line travel and angular step input,The steady-state rotation and the single shift line and other typical working conditions,the simulation analysis of the steering stability of the train;at the same time,the minimum turning radius of the articulated passenger car and the geometric analysis of the passage circle,to construct a right-angle turning pass simulation working condition,research In order to improve the passability of the bus,some suggestions for improving and improving the passability of the multi-group articulated bus on the road were proposed.The research results of this paper show that the 31 m articulated car train can drive in the passage circle specified in GB 1589-2004,but it cannot pass the conventional arc road of 12.5m right angle and can pass the road of 15 m right angle;the influence of different speeds on the handling stability Larger,as the speed of the vehicle increases,the vehicle handling stability becomes worse.Through the study of this article,we can get a preliminary understanding of the handling stability of articulated vehicles,and at the same time provide a theoretical reference for the application of multi-group articulated buses in my country.At the end of the article,the problems existing in this topic are summarized,and the direction for the next step is pointed out.
