No matter from daily life to industrial production,military industry to aerospace,electric energy undoubtedly plays an important role.With the progress of science and technology,people have higher and higher requirements for power quality.At the same time,the large use of non-linear load in industry leads to the increasing of reactive power imbalance and harmonic pollution.Its impact load reduces the quality of electric energy,at the same time,it leads to a series of problems,such as the reduction of the utilization rate of electric energy,the increase of the expenditure of electric energy,the shortening of the service life of electric equipment,and even the destruction of electric equipment.This will make the safe operation of electric power difficult and affect the efficiency of enterprises.Therefore,the research and application of reactive power compensation device is directly related to the reliability,efficiency and economy of power system operation.This paper takes the reactive power compensation and harmonic suppression of10 kV substation of Ordos airport terminal as the research object,aiming at the deficiency of the current traditional reactive power compensation device parallel capacitor in the compensation process,the SVG with harmonic suppression function is studied.The specific work is as follows:Firstly,the paper combines the current power supply situation of Ordos airport and the influence of reactive power on power supply.From the practical point of view of safe operation and cost saving,the necessity of research on reactive power compensation device is put forward.Then it introduces the development history of reactive power compensation device,analyzes the advantages of SVG and chooses it as the research object.In the aspect of SVG research,it focuses on its structure and working principle,reactive current detection and control strategy.In this paper,the improved detection method is used to detect the reactive current,and the hysteresis comparison control method is used to control the reactive current.In the aspect of simulation application,MATLAB software is used to simulate the parallel capacitor and SVG control method respectively,which proves the application effect of the method.At the end of the paper,the setting method of the main circuit parameters is introduced,and the hardware and software of 10 kVar SVG are designed.
