Supplier selection is one of the important contents of supply chain management.It is not only a theoretical research problem but also a problem that enterprises need to pay attention to and solve in daily management in reality.Suppliers provide enterprises with raw materials,key components,mechanical equipment,and other related resources required for production.This is the first step of production and operation activities,which is related to the sustainable development and competitiveness of enterprises.In terms of the selection mechanism,different industries have different requirements,and different companies focus on different factors.This work involves a wide range and has important research and practical significance.At present,the domestic economy is undergoing adjustment and transformation,as is the automobile production industry.The domestic automobile industry is gradually developing towards intensive,informatization,and low carbonization.Company D is an old state-owned automobile production enterprise accompanying the growth of the Republic.It is located in the core zone of the old industrial base in the Northeast and strives to achieve the goal of large-scale,technological and sustainable new state-owned enterprise transformation.The quality of raw materials and components directly determines the quality level of automobile production,which affects the business performance and market competitiveness of the company.However,the supplier selection mechanism of company D is relatively old and there are some problems in management.Therefore,it is necessary to adopt scientific and advanced evaluation methods,combined with industry background and product characteristics,to provide improvement suggestions for the company's supplier selection management.This article first analyzes the problems of company D in supplier evaluation,selection,and management,and finds out the causes of the problems.Then,based on the existing research,considering the actual needs of the company's product production,appropriate indicators are selected and weights are assigned to form a supplier evaluation system.Its dimensions include product quality,overall operating capacity,and specialization service standards.Next,conduct an empirical analysis of the selection of raw material suppliers of Company D,and use the AHP and TOPSIS to comprehensively score and rank the selected suppliers based on the established evaluation system,and then select the selected Relatively best partner.Finally,through the above analysis and calculation,this article puts forward some improvement countermeasures for company D's supplier selection,including the improvement of the top-level system,the improvement of the evaluation system,the improvement of the quality of practitioners,and the subsequent strategic cooperation relationship with suppliers measures such as maintenance.This article focuses on the decision-making ideas of automotive industry companies when selecting upstream suppliers,selects Company D as the main research object,and solves the actual case of the company's selection of headlight suppliers through operational research theory and statistical methods problem.To a certain extent,this article can provide theoretical guidance for company D's supplier selection and management,and can be used by other companies in the industry for reference.
