The construction of motorway facilitates the transportation of residents along the routes,promotes the development of economy and tourism along the route,but it also leads to a series of soil erosion and water loss problems,the most common of which are the collapse of the loose accumulation of waste slag,the slope slip slag,the impact on the water system along the route,etc.The problem caused by soil erosion and water loss on motorway is becoming more and more serious.How to reduce soil erode and water loss,reduce the impact and damage to the surrounding natural environment in the process of engineering construction,and make economic development and environmental protection sustainable development is an important topic worth studying at present.Taking the Section from Yongding Gaotou to Hulei expressway of Fu Jian Province as an example,this paper studies the soil erosion and water loss caused by the project.First,we understand the development of motorways and the status of soil erosion and water loss at home and abroad,then determine the research content and technical route,analyze the overall layout of project design and the basis of design determination,combined with topography,hydrology,meteorology and other natural factors along the route,to carry out soil erosion and water loss prediction in the research area.According to the predicted results,it is determined that the construction period is the key period of soil erosion and water loss.Roadbed,tunnel engineering area,waste earth area and bridge and culvert engineering are the key parts of soil erosion and water loss.It provides reference and basis for design of soil and water conservation measures.According to the characteristics of the different areas,targeted soil erosion control projects are designed to meet the requirements of the code.From the perspective of water and soil conservation,all the indexes of soil and water conservation in this study can meet the demand of the soil and water conservation program,By the target year of design,the treatment percentage of disturbed land is 95%,the controlled percentage of erosion area is 97%,the percentage of dammed slag or ashes is 95%,the controlled ratio of soil erosion modulus is 1.1,the recovery percentage of the forestry andgrass is 99%,and percentage of the forestry and grass coverage is 53.4%(Wang FL,2016).Results indicate that the implementation of various soil and water conservation measures can not only control soil erosion and water loss in the engineering area,but also improve the landscape along the line and coordinate with the surrounding environment,which has good ecological,social and economic benefits.
