Research On The Application Of BIM Technology In PC Prefabricated Building

The construction industry,as one of the old pillar industries of China’s economy,has brought rapid economic development to China.The construction industry is also constantly improving and innovating,but there are also some problems in the development process.For example,due to the influence of the traditional extensive model in the management mode,serious resource waste,ecological environmental pollution and destruction have occurred,which seriously hinder sustainable development of the construction industry.Under the mainstream thought of sustainable development society in the new century,the method of pre-fabricating the corresponding building parts and then transporting them to the site for assembly is called PC prefabricated building.The emergence of prefabricated construction method plays an important role in alleviating the long construction period,waste of building materials and environmental pollution of traditional construction projects.The emergence of this method provides new ideas for the development of the construction field,and it has also become the mainstream research in the construction industry at this stage.However,the application of the most advanced BIM construction technology to prefabricated PC buildings can bring new development directions.People can use the common characteristics of BIM information and data and the advantages of visualization for prefabricated construction,which can greatly improve construction efficiency.The main content of this paper is to discuss whether the PC prefabricated building combined with BIM technology can conform to the development trend of China and achieve the development goals of economic resource conservation and environmental friendliness on the basis of the current development form of the domestic construction industry.Being a construction project manager in a large enterprise in Jiangxi,the author has been engaged in construction management for many years,including extensive management experiences on prefabricated buildings.Through the author’s project management experience and relevant domestic and foreign data analysis,this paper clarifies the respective advantages and different characteristics of BIM technology and PC prefabricated buildings,explores the advantages of combining BIM technology with PC prefabricated buildings,and expounds the main role the BIM technology played in each construction stage of the PC prefabricated building,finally putting forward a new construction mode ofstandardized design and digital control production.At the end of the article,taking the No.6 building project in Area A of Fuzhou city as a case,this paper introduces in detail the concrete practice of how to adopt BIM technology to carry out construction in prefabricated PC building,and expounds the significance and development benefits of combining BIM technology with PC prefabricated building in each stage of construction according to the practical results.
