Some Liliaceous plants which are used as common indoor plants were selected to compare and analyze the difference of concentration of negative air ion(NAI)released by plants under natural conditions and upon different pulse voltage stimulation. Some stomata quantitative feature index such as length,width,length-width ratio, area, circumference, density were measured to explore correlation among NAIs,stomata quantitative features and pulse voltage.1.The concentration of negative air ion(NAI)released by 12 species including varieties and cJltivars of Liliaceous plants under natural conditions were analyzed by means of variance analysis and multiple comparison.Plants can release negative air ion under natural conditions, however, their generation ability was limited, and concentration of negative air ion(NAI)released by different plants had significant differences. The average negative air ion conditions released by Dracaena sanderiana was 909 ion·cm-3,which was the highest levels;the second was Aloe nobilis, the average negative air ion conditions was 906 ion·cm-3;the lowest was Chlorophytum comosum 'Variegatum,,the average negative air ion conditions was 236 ion·cm-3.2.The concentration of negative air ion(NAI)released by 10 species including cultivated varieties of Liliaceous plants under gradient pulse voltage stimulation of OkV(control group under natural conditions),7kV,9kV,11kV,13kV and15kV were determined.Compared to the NAI concentration under natural conditions(OkV),the multiplier effect of concentration of negative air ion released by plants which were stimulated by gradient pulse voltage was significant.Draceana arborea'massangeana' had the largest multiplication ratio, the highest value of NAI release concentration was 13524039 ion·cm-3 at 13kV.Compared to value under natural conditions, which was 343 ion·cm-3,the multiplication ratio of Draceana arborea'assangeana' at 13kV is 39428 times. The lowest value of NAI release concentration by Draceana arborea 'massangeana' was 8412395 ion·cm-3 at 7kV.Compared to value under natural conditions, which was 343 ion·cm-3,the multiplication ratio of Draceana arborea'massangeana' at 7kV is 24525 times. Therefore, range of multiplication ratio for Draceana arborea'massangeana' stimulated by gradient pulse voltage is 24525-39428 times compared to value under natural conditions.Chlorophytum comosum had the smallest multiplication ratio, the highest value of NAI release concentration was 1933492 ion·cm-3 at 11kV.Compared to value under natural conditions, which was 568 ion·cm-3,the multiplication ratio of Chlorophytum comosum at 11kV is 3404 times. The lowest value of NAI release concentration by Chlorophytum comosum was 681586 ion·cm-3 at 7kV.Compared to value under natural conditions, which was 568 ion·cm-3,the multiplication ratio of Chlorphytum comosum at 7kV is 1199 times. Therefore, range of multiplication ratio for Chlorophytum comosum stimulated by gradient pulse voltage is 1199-3404 times compared to value under natural conditions. The intensities of pulse voltage were not doomed to highest value when concentration of negative air ion of diffberent species reached maximum values.Dracaena sanderiana?Cordyline fruticosa?Ophiopogon bodinieri?Dracaena deremensis at 15kV,Dracaena angustifolia?Draceana arborea massangeana?Chlorophytum comosum variegatum at 13kV,Chlorophytum comosum?Dianella ensifolia at 11kV,and Draceana arborea at 7kV.Variance analyses showed values of 4 species including cultivated varieties respectively under gradient pulse voltage(7kV,9kV,11kV,13kV andl5kV)had extremely significant difference(P<0.01),namely,Dracaena sanderiana,Dracaena deremens,Dracaena angustifolia and Dianella ensifolia,2 species including Cordyline fruticosa and Chlorophytum comosum respectively had significant difference(P<0.05),3 species including cultivated varieties respectively had no significant difference(P>0.05).3.The correlations among concentration of negative air ion(NAI)released by species including varieties, stomata quantitative feature index and intensity of pulse voltage were analyzed by partial correlation and regression analysis:There were not significant correlation between stomata length,width,width,length-width ratio, area, circumference, density and intensity of pulse voltage. The correlations between concentration of negative air ion and stomata quantitative feature were not significant. There was significant positive correlation between concentration of negative air ion and intensity of pulse voltage of 10 species(varieties)of Liliaceous plants except Draceana arborea.Regression equation for Dracaena sanderiana was Y=exp(16.473-6.340/X)(R2=0.950,P=0.005),for Dracaena deremens was Y=exp(17.245-24.843/X)(R2=0.997,P=0.000),for Dracaena angustifolia was Y=1.499E7-8.058E7/X(R,=0.868,P=0.021),for Cordyline fruticosa was Y=1233904.320 x X0.608(R2=0.926,P=0.009),for Dianella ensifolia was Y=-4834034.139+2204540.314X-104516.089X2(R2=1.000,P=0.000);Howeve:,there was no right curve to indicate relation between concentration of negative air ion and intensity of pulse voltage of the other 4 species(varieties)plants.
