The purpose of this experiment was to study the effects of different ages of castration on the growth performance, blood hormones and fatty acids in Yanbian yellow cattle.Due to the long feeding cycle of Yanbian Yellow Cattle that produce high-grade beef, slow growth and early cutting will affect its growth and development, and the cutting is too late to achieve the cutting effect. Therefore, this experiment selected 50-month-old Yanbian cattle aged 6 months with similar blood and health. They were divided equally into five groups. The WYG group was not castrated, the YG6 group was castrated at 6 months of age,the YG8 group was castrated at 8 months of age,the YG10 group was castrated at 10 months, and the YG12 group was cut at 12 months of age.The test cattle were uniformly reared in the Hailanjiang ranch,Feed the basal diet at different stages and eat freely.During the test period, the body weight was measured once every two months. The weight of the growth hormone, insulin, testosterone, and estradiol in the blood was measured by taking blood from the jugular vein in the morning before the body weight.Changes in feed intake throughout the test period were determined. The test cattle were slaughtered at 30 months of age,and their slaughter performance was determined and the fatty acid content of eight different parts of muscle was measured.Compare the effects of different ages of castration on fatty acid composition in different parts of Yanbian yellow cattle. The results showed that:1 the whole growth performanceThe weight of WYG group was higher than that of the experimental groups. The WYG group was significantly different from the YG6 group,YG8 group,YG10 group, and YG12 group(P<0.05).The YG6 group had the highest 30-month weight compared with other castrate groups;WYG group was higher than YG6 group than YG12 group,WYG group,YG6 group and YG12 group were higher than YG8 group and YG10 group and the difference was significant(P<0.05).In addition to oblique body length, castration had little effect on the body size of Yanbian yellow cattle.Analysis results Castration reduced the growth rate of Yanbian Yellow Cattle. The growth rate of 8-month-old and 10-month-old cuts decreased significantly, with 6-month and 12-month-old growth. The speed reduction is not obvious.2 the entire period of feed conversion rateThe feed conversion rate of the YG6 group was lower than that of the WYG group and the castration group during the whole experiment and the difference was significant(P<0.05),indicating that the feed utilization rate of the YG6 group was the highest in the whole period.3 the whole blood hormoneThe content of testosterone in blood was significantly higher in WYG group than in each group(P<0.01);the content of estradiol in WYG group was significantly lower than that in each test group(P<0.01),among which YG6 and YG12 were higher than those in YG8 and YG10.The difference between the groups was significant(P<0.05);the growth hormone content in WYG group was significantly higher than that in YG6 group,YG8 group and YG10 group(P<0.05);the insulin content in WYG group was significantly lower than that in YG6,YG10,and YG12 groups(P<0.01).),significantly lower than the YG8 group(P<0.05).4 slaughter performanceDifferent castrated ages can affect the slaughtering performance of Yanbian cattle, and the body weight of the sculpted turtles decreased after being castrated.YG6 group had higher body weight than YG8 group,YG10 group and YG12 group, while WYG group,YG6 group and YG12 group were significantly higher than YG8 group and YG10 group(P<0.05);The net weight of WYG group was significantly higher than that of the castration group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the net meat weight of different months of age(P>0.05).Castration had a significant influence on slaughter rate and net meat rate of Yanbian yellow cattle.5 fatty acid contentThe composition of fatty acids in different parts of Yanbian cattle with different castration ages was different, and the oleic acid content in eight parts was relatively highest. The highest ratio of monounsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids was observed in the 6-month-old cuttings, and the content of oleic acid in different parts of castrated rice increased, and stearic acid and palmitic acid content decreased.
