Guangxi is located in the southern part of the sub-tropical humid monsoon.It is the largest province of mulberry and Silkworm in China.The area of Mulberry Plantation is more than 200,000 hectares,the mulberry tree is planted twice in winter and summer and the annual mulberny branches are over 6 million tons,this is a valuable resource that can be used.According to the Chinese Pharmacopoeia,the Mulberry Branch has the function of removing wind and dampness,relieving joint and running water.It can cure rheumatism,limb cramp and swelling of foot.Modern Pharmacological Studies also show that Mulberry Branches Contain Polysaccharides,flavonoids,alkaloids,polysaccharides and other substances,which can reduce blood glucose,blood pressure and anti-cancer activities.The research on the active components of Mulberry has become a hot topic in the mulberry field in recent years.However,the active materials in mulberry are mainly studied on Mulberry Leaves,but few on Mulberry Branches,and Mulberry is the material base of Mulberry Industry,which mainly uses the leaf,mulberry branches are often used as industrial waste.Therefore,this study is based on the main species of mulberry in Guangxi,the contents of total alkaloids,polysaccharides and total flavonoids of 23 mulberry species were determined by means of the method of Rey's salt colorimetric method,RP-HPLC-UV,vitriol-anthranone,spectrophotometry to investigate the dynamic changes of total alkaloids,DNJ,polysaccharides and total flavonoids in branches with varieties,growing time seasons and harvesting time.The high-quality mulberry raw material was selected by using spss 23 factor analysis.The results are as follows:(1)The Dry matter rate of summer-logging Mulberry Branches and total alkaloid,DNJ,polysaccharides and total flavonoids in mulberry branches were 5521%-69.64%,2.942-6.511 mg/g,0.44-1.077 mg/g,7.558-9.875 mg/g,1.081-1.743 mg/g respectively.The total alkaloids,DNJ and polysaccharide contents in Mulberry Branches and Mulberry Branches were:Guisang 6,Sangteyou 2,Yueshen Da 10,and strong Mulberry 1.Guisang 6 and Sangteyou 2 are the main mulberry species in Guangxi.The Dry matter rate of mulberry branches and Total Alkaloid,DNJ and polysaccharide in mulberry branches were all higher in Guangxi.(2)Dry matter rate of winter felling Mulberry Branches and total alkaloid,DNJ,polysaccharides and total flavonoids in mulberry branches were 44.87%-6533%,3.599-6.511 mg/g,0.43-135 mg/g,8.109-14.069 mg/g,0.810-1.472 mg/g respectively.The highest contents of total alkaloids,DNJ and polysaccharide in mulberry branches were as follows:Sha 2 × lun 109,Sangteyou 1,Sangteyou 1,and Guisangyou 62,respectively.Sangteyou 1 and Guisangyou 62 are the main mulberry species in Guangxi.The Dry matter rate of mulberry branches and Total Alkaloids,DNJ and polysaccharides in mulberry branches were all high.(3)The Dry matter rate in mulberry branches and the contents of total alkaloids,DNJ and polysaccharides in mulberry branches were higher than those of 1-2 months old,and the contents of total alkaloids,DNJ and polysaccharides in mulberry branches were higher than those of 1-2 months old,branches grown in the second half of the year are higher than those in the upper part of the branch.(4)The correlation between total alkaloids and DNJ contents in the branches of Mulberry Species showed that the content of DNJ was positively correlated with total alkaloid content in summer cutting branches and winter logging mulberry branches.(5)The content of total alkaloids,polysaccharides and DNJ in the branches of mulberry species such as Guisangyou 12,Guisangyou 62,Sangteyou 2,Sangteyou 1,Guisang 5,Guisang 6 and so on,the content of total alkaloids,polysaccharides and DNJ in the branches of Mulberry Species such as Mulberry Tree,Cinnamon Mulberry 6 etc,it is mulberry branches that use difficult to get more valuable resources.
