Hybrid Cymbidium is a new kind of Cymbidium with broad market prospect which developed from Cymbidium hybridium and Chinese Cymbidium.It has both bright color of Cymbidium hybridum and the fragrance of Chinese Cymbidium.There are a lot of cultivars in the market,and culture characteristics of different cultivars are not the same because of their diverse genetic substances,therefore,it is of great importance for further studying culture techniques of different cultivars in order to promote the development of hybrid Cymbidium industry.But there are few reports on cultivation of hybrid Cymbidium up to now.In the study,Cymbidium‘Xiaofeng'and‘Yunv'were employed to study the effects of test-tube seedling height,transplanting time,substrate,fertilizer and exogenous hormone on the vegetative and reproductive growth of hybrid Cymbidium.The main results are as follows:?1?The plant height of test-tube seedling had no significant effect on the survival rate,leaf number and growth rate of‘Xiaofeng',but had a significant effect on the number of plant.After 18 months of transplanting,the number of plant of 10 cm test-tube seedling was significantly higher than that of 8 cm.Transplanting time significantly affected the survival rate,plant height,leaf number and plant number of‘Xiaofeng'test-tube seedling,the survival rate was higher and the seedlings grew better when transplanting during March to May.The substrate had no significant effect on the survival rate,but the number of plant by the use of water moss as substrate was significantly higher than that of the mixed medium when transplanting during March to May.There was no significant difference in the survival rate of different foliar fertilizer,however,there was significant difference in the number of plant when transplanting in March,and there was significant difference in plant height when transplanting in April.?2?Application of foliar fertilizer had significant effects on plant height and plant number of‘Xiaofeng'small seedling,but had no significant effects on the number of leaves and leaf width,plant height and the number of plant were the highest,being 17.88 cm and3.68,respectively,when spraying 3000?solution of HuaDuoDuo?N:P2O5:K2O=20:20:20?.Application of foliar fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height of‘Xiaofeng'medium seedling,but had no significant effect on the number of plant,the number of leaf and leaf width,plant height was the highest?21.41 cm?when spraying3000?mix solution of HuaDuoDuo?N:P2O5:K2O=20:20:20?and KH2PO4.Application of foliar fertilizer had no significant effect on plant height,the number of plant,number of leaf and leaf width of‘Xiaofeng'large seedling.?3?Application of foliar fertilizer had a significant effect on the flowering of‘Xiaofeng',the flower bud differentiation rate was the highest,the length of inflorescence was the longest and the size of flower was the biggest when spraying self-made GG nutrient solution.The results of correlation analysis showed that the number of leaf was positively significantly correlated with the number of flower,and the length of leaf was positively significantly correlated with the diameter of peduncle.?4?Application of foliar fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height and leaf width of‘Yunv'small seedling,but had no significant effect on the number of plant and leaf,plant height and leaf width were the highest,which were 22.07 and 1.39 cm,respectively,when spraying 3000?mix solution of HuaDuoDuo?N:P2O5:K2O=20:20:20?and KH2PO4.Application of foliar fertilizer had a significant effect on plant size,leaf growth and the number of plant in‘Yunv'medium seedling,but had no significant effect on plant height.The number of plant was highest?1.7?when spraying N336 mg/L?P62 mg/L?K234 mg/L foliar fertilizer solution.?5?Application of 1000 mg/L PP333 had a significant effect on the bud differentiation of‘Yunv',the number of new buds was the highest,while the number of leaf,leaf size and plant height decreased.Application of 6-BA800 mg/L promote the vegetative growth,nevertheless,the number of new shoot deceased.The number of new shoot deceased when application of 6-BA800 mg/L and1000 mg/L PP333,while the growth was normal.?6?Application of foliar fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height of‘Yunv'and‘Xiaofeng'small seedling.Plant height of‘Xiaofeng'was the highest?17.88 cm?when spraying 3000?solution of HuaDuoDuo?N:P2O5:K2O=20:20:20?,however,plant height of‘Yunv'was the highest?22.07 cm?when spraying 3000?mix solution of HuaDuoDuo?N:P2O5:K2O=20:20:20?and KH2PO4,indicating that the growth of different hybrid Cymbidiums was not the same,and so did the suitable foliar fertilizer.Through the above research,the culture characteristics of different hybrid Cymbidiums were clarified and the production technical system of potted plant in Cym‘Xiaofeng'was established.These results have important reference value on further studying the growth rule and establishment of standard cultivation technical system in Hybrid Cymbidium.
