In recent years, with the increasing of import and export trade and international exchanges have became more frequently, the ports of entry and exit in China intercepted large of moths each year.Due to many relatives, and intercepted specimens most badly worn, and the loss of external morphological features is large, etc.,many species is difficult to quickly and accurately identify.Because of the species which not identified have potential ecological risk, have brought great inconvenience and obstacles to the entry-exit inspection and quarantine work, and restricted the import and export trade. In this study,we take the moths which were intercepted in Zhejiang and Hainan entry-exit ports as the research object.we use the morphological method and DNA barcoding technology for accurate classification and identification, and then analysis the quarantine risk and predict the potential suitable districts of Ectomyelois ceratoniae(Zeller,1839)which has ecological risk. This paper explores the identify methods for quarantine moths which were dry, identification efficiency up to 87.7%;predict the potential suitable districts of Ectomyelois ceratoniae(Zeller,1839)which was quarantine pest in the identification results, the main results are as follows:1.To explore the suitable genomic DNA extraction and PCR amplification reaction methods for dried moths, can be better to extract the high quality DNA,and can successfully amplify the target bands by using the universal primer of lepidoptera insects,to meet the requirements of sequencing.2.65 specimens were identified by combining the traditional morphological method with DNA barcoding technology, and there are 57 specimens identification to species level, species identification efficiency of 87.7%,the remaining eight specimens only identified to genus due to the missing feature.Put forward the recommendations concern moths list of 10 families,36 species, prepared the identification key of important moths.3.Using the BIOCLIM and DOMAIN models of DIVA-GIS on quarantine pest-Ectomyelois ceratoniae(Zeller,1839)for forecasting the suitable districts, think Xinxiang and Jiaozuo of Henan,Guangyuan and Mianyang of Sichuan,Hanzhong and Ankang of Shanxi,Kashi and Hetian of Xinjiang and other areas to for height suitable districts,Heilongjiang and the northern of Inner Mongolia and Tibet,Qinghai southwest and northeast areas for non-suitable districts;in global, the height suitable districts main concentrated in the west of Asia, northern and southern Africa, central and southern North America, southern South America and the central regions of Oceania.
