In order to understand the present status of pesticide residue in vegetables and strengthen the supervision for the quality and safety of agricultural products,the routine monitoring of vegetable quality and safety was regular carried out in Zhenjiang for several years.The sampling method was based on the occupation standard NY/T 763-2004.The test method of pesticide residue was based on the occupation standard NY/T 761-2008.The results of routine monitoring of pesticide residues in vegetables in Zhenjiang during 2013-2015 were collected and analyzed as follows.(1)The banned pesticides were not detected.The use of non-banned pesticides was common,a total of 17 kinds of non-banned pesticides were detected.(2)The qualified rate of pesticide residues was 98.7%,97.9%,100%from the year 2013 to 2015,higher than the national average results.(3)There were differences in pesticide residues between different vegetable bases.Unqualified samples were all from the "company + farmer" vegetable bases in our study.And the detection rate of pesticide residues in the "company + farmer" vegetable bases was also relatively higher.(4)There were differences in pesticide residues in vegetables of different categories.The detection rates of pesticide residue were 21.9%,29.2%,37.5%,50%in leafy vegetables,Brassica,root vegetables and perennial vegetables.The detection rates of pesticide residue in other kinds of vegetables were significantly lower.The over standard rates were 1.05%,2.70%,6.67 and 10%in Common cabbage,Ipomoea aquatic,chrysanthemum and celery.There were no unqualified samples in other leafy vegetables and non leaf vegetables.(5)The quality and safety of vegetables in Zhenjiang was in good condition from 2013 to 2015.The mean value of Pi was much less than 1 from 2013 to 2015 by using single pollution index.By using hazards' Risk coefficients,the banned pesticides were out of risk because they were not detected;among detected non-banned pesticides,only Chlorpyrifos,Carbendazim,Thiophanate-methyl were in middle risk in different years,the risk factor(R)was between 1.6 and 2.4.The other non-banned pesticides were in low risk,the risk factor(R)was lower than 1.According to the index of food safety,the IFS were all lower than 1 in all the years,indicating the safety risks of the detected vegetables were within acceptable range.The control and supervision countermeasures of pesticide residues in vegetables in Zhenjiang were as follows:(1)To optimize the working scheme of the supervision for the quality and safety of agriculture products.(2)To strengthen publicity,training and technical guidance of standardized prod-uction.(3)To improve the traceability system of quality and safety of Vegetables and to improve the sell and market access of qualified products.(4)To build brand of vegetables in Zhenjiang.(5)To improve the intelligent supervision and service of quality and safety of vegetables.
