The production mode of Using the Landracex Yorkshire pigs as the female parent and Duroc as the terminal male parent,produced Durocx(LandracexYorkshire)hybrid pig has been widely applied in China's pig breeding industry.Although Durocx(Landrace×Yorkshire)pigs grew up faster and got higher feed reward,but the meat quality could not meet people's demand for high quality pork.Therefore,according to China's pig consumption market and people's dietary needs,it is the main research direction of pig breeding in China to cultivate high-quality pig new varieties or matching lines which have fast growth rate,high feed conversion rate and meat quality.In this study,the Duroc,barkshire,Landrace and Yorkshire pigs were used as breeding materials.Based on the continuous breeding of pure bred species,the cross matching experiments were carried out.Through the combining ability test and production performance comparative analysis,we screened excellent cross combination mode to provide data support for breeding and demonstration promotion of lean meat type pig breeding line.The experimental results are as follows:1.Compared with parents,the reproductive performance of Landracex Yorkshire sows was better than that of their parents(P>0.05).The number of live litter,piglet birth weight and birth weight of DurocxBerkshire pigs were higher than that of their parents Duroc and Berkshire(P<0.05).2.In terms of growth performance,the back fat thickness of Landracex Yorkshire pigs was significantly lower than that of their parents.The 100kg corrected day age,corrected daily gain and corrected back fat thickness of DurocxBerkshire pigs were significantly better than that of their parents,and the 30kg corrected day age was significantly lower than their parent Duroc(P<0.05).The growth performance of(Duroc x Berksh ire)x(Landrace x Yorkshire)was better than that of Duroc×(LandracexYorkshire)(P>0.05).3.butchering performance and carcass quality,the rate of slaughter,lean meat percentage and leg hip ratio of(DurocxBerkshire)x(LandracexYorkshire)pigs grew better than that of parent and Durocx(LandracexYorkshire)pigs(P<0.05).In terms of carcass quality,the shear force,eye muscle area and water yield of(DurocxBerkshire)x(LandracexYorkshire)pigs were better than that of parents(P<0.05),but the meat color,cooked meat rate and pH in 1h after slaughter were worse than Duroc×(Landracex Yorkshire)pigs(P<0.05).4.There was no significant difference in the contents of intramuscular fat and protein between(DurocxBerkshire)x(LandracexYorkshire)pigs and Durocx(LandracexYorkshire)pigs(P>0.05).The contents of total amino acids,essential amino acids and delicious amino acids were higher than Durocx(LandracexYorkshire)pigs(P>0.05).The saturated and unsaturated fatty acids of(DurocxBerkshire)x(LandracexYorkshire)pigs were higher than Durocx(LandracexYorkshire)pigs(P>0.05),but the linolenic acid was lower than that of Durocx(Landracex Yorkshire)pigs(P<0.05).The results showed that(DurocxBerkshire)pigs inherited the characteristics of duroc's fast growth rate,high slaughter rate and lean meat rate,and also inherited the reproductive performance of Berkshire.The growth performance,breeding performance and slaughtering performance of(DurocxBerkshire)x(LandracexYorkshire)pigs were better than Durocx(Landracex Yorkshire)pigs.The results of this experiment can provide a basis for the utilization of duroc and bacha.
