Investigation And Analysis Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Resources In Jiexi County、Guangdong Province

General survey of traditional Chinese medicine resources is the important mean to master the information of traditional Chinese medicine resources.However,nearly30 years have passed since the third national survey of traditional Chinese medicine resources was completed.During this period,the traditional Chinese medicine industry developed rapidly,and the demand for the utilization of traditional Chinese medicine resources continuously increased.Great changes had taken place in the types,distribution,quantity,quality and application of domestic traditional Chinese medicine resources.In order to find out the current situation of traditional Chinese medicine resources,Guangdong province launched the fourth national survey of traditional Chinese medicine resources.Jiexi County,as one of the pilot counties,was rich in domestic resources.In this study,through field research,photo taking,specimen identification,industry collation,visits and investigation,literature collection and collation,Chinese medicine resources in Jiexi County were investigated and studied.This study mainly includes the species of wild medicinal plants,cultivated medicinal plants,the general situation of Chinese medicine market,traditional Chinese medicine folk single prescription,as well as rare and endangered,state key protected plants and so on.Based on the research results,the development and application of traditional Chinese medicine resources in Jiexi County were analyzed.The main results were listed as follows:1.In this general survey,there were 36 sample plots in Jiexi County and 1080 quadrats.400 herbariums was collected in which 393 plants were medical ones,belonging to 120 families 249 genera.There were 356 angiosperm,4 gymnospermae and 33 pteridophyte.2.The wild medical plants in Jiexi County were abundant and diverse.The verity could be seen in its position,function and favour.From the research result,the most of the medical plants in Jiexi county were roots and rhizomes,account to 176 kinds,which accounts for 44.78%.There were 194 kinds of the antipyretics medical plants in Jiexi county,which accouts for 49.36%.92 kinds of the clearing damp and promoting diuresis was in the second place,which was followed by 92 kinds of the blood stasis drugs and 88 kinds of the expelling wind damp.There were 20 kinds of poisonous medical plants.3.Through this investigation,there were 4 national rare and endangered plants,and 7 national key protected wild medical plants.The cultivated medical plants in Jiexi county were Melastoma dodecandrum Lour.,Houttuynia cordata Thunb,Plantago depressa Willd.,Hedyotis diffusa Willd.etc.The current traditional Chinese medicine in Jiexi county market were about 66 kinds.Through the investigation of the knowledge about the traditional Chines medicine,there were 11 local medical plants.4.Jiexi County should focus on the development of characteristic resources and superior varieties of traditional Chinese medicine,such as Dichondra,Hedyotis diffusa,Scutellaria barbata,and so on;put forward measures to protect rare and endangered species;excavate folk prescriptions and secret recipes of traditional Chinese medicine;strengthen the study of effective ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine.
