Chaohu duck is a local genetic resource in China,in order to adapt to the development of industrial feeding,it is necessary to carry out breeding utilization and production performance analysis.In order to explore the growth rule of Chaohu duck breeding group,in this study,the weight of the third generation of Chaohu duck M line was measured at 0 weeks,2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks,8 weeks,10 weeks and 12 weeks.Logistic,Gompertz and Von Bertalanffy models were used to simulate its growth and development;The slaughter performance of males and females aged 10 weeks and 12 weeks was measured;The effect of IGF2BP1 gene polymorphism on the growth and meat quality of Chaohu duck M line was analyzed.The main results are as follows:1.Analysis on the growth rule of Chaohu duck M lineThere is no difference between males and females of birth weight.From week 4,the weight of male was significantly higher than that of female ducks(P<0.05).The weight of 10 weeks male is 1753.69108.08g,and female is 1614.691116.28g.12 weeks of male weight is 1971.501153.51g,the weight of female ducks at 12 weeks is 1796.52108.33g.Logistic,Gompertz and Von Bertalanffy three nonlinear mathematical models were used to simulate the growth and development rules.The fitting degree(R2)was 0.983,0.993 and 0.996,respectively.The highest fitting degree was the Von Bertalanffy model(R2=0.996).The weight at the inflection point was 899.72,693.90 and 575.96,respectively.The weekly ages of inflection points were 4.40,3.46 and 2.94,respectively.Three non-linear models were used to estimate the body weight at each growth time point.By comparing the theoretical weight and the observed weight of the model fitting,it can be seen that the body weight at each time point calculated by the Von Bertalanffy model is relatively close except for the initial weight.Therefore,the fitting effect of the Von Bertalanffy curve model is considered to be superior to the Logistic and Gompertz models.2.Polymorphism analysis of IGF2BP1 geneUsing PCR-SSCP technology,a 23bp deletion was found on the second intron of IGF2BP1 gene at the position of 1442-1464,the wild type was AA,and the mutant was AB.To analyze its population gene frequency,genotype frequency and Hardy-Weinberg balance the chi square adaptive of ?2.Chaohu duck type AA number accounts for 90.36%of male,accounting for 84.86%of the female,accounting for 87.46%of the group.AB number accounts for 9.64%of the male,accounting for 15.14%of the female,accounting for 12.54%of the population.AA number is much higher than AB allele frequency of A account for 93.73%of the population,are far higher than the frequency of allele B.The polymorphism information content of this site in the population was 0.11,is low degree polymorphism.The heterozygosity was 0.12 and the number of effective alleles was 0.22.chi-square test of ?2 result shows that group in this site in Hardy Weinberg equilibrium state.The average weight of AA type was higher than that of AB type in both male and female populations,but there was no significant difference in weight between different genotypes.At the age of 10 weeks,the semi-clean chamber rate of type AA in male ducks was significantly higher than that of type AB(P<0.05),and the liver weight and fat rate of type AB in female ducks were significantly higher than that of type AA(P<0.05).At the age of 12 weeks,the liver weight of AA type female duck was significantly higher than that of AB type(P<0.05).and there was no significant difference between the genotypes of male ducks in slaughter performance.Muscle quality of Chaohu duck M line with different genotypes was analyzed.At the age of 10 weeks,dry matter content of type AB in male chest muscle,IMF content in dry meat,and IMF content in fresh meat were significantly higher than that of type AA(P<0.05).The cooking loss,redness(a),dry matter content,IMF content in dry meat and IMF content in fresh meat of AA type of male leg muscle were significantly higher than those of AB type(P<0.05).This indicates that the polymorphism of this locus has an opposite effect on the content of IMF in the breast and leg muscles of the male ducks.There was no significant difference in meat quality between different genotypes of female.At the age of 12 weeks,the AB shear force,yellowness(b)and the IMF content in fresh meat of male chest muscle were significantly higher than that of AA type(P<0.05).AA type redness(a)of male leg muscle was significantly higher than AB type(P<0.05).The content of IMF in fresh meat of AB type of breast muscle of female duck was significantly higher than that of AA type(P<0.05).AA type brightness(L)of female duck leg muscle was significantly higher than that of AB type(P<0.05),and the IMF content in fresh meat of AB type was significantly higher than that of AA type(P<0.05).In conclusion,the growth and development rules of M line in chaohu ducks in the third generation were irregular "S" type,the best growth curve model is the Von Bertalanffy model.It has a great influence on slaughter rate,liver weight and heart weight,the IMF content in male duck muscle was significantly affected.
