Flue-cured tobacco is an important economic crop in China.The high quality production of flue-cured tobacco requires excellent flue-cured tobacco varieties.In recent years,the lack of distinctive flue-cured tobacco varieties has become a key issue restricting the development of tobacco production in various tobacco-growing areas.In order to screen out the reserve varieties suitable for tobacco production in Guang Yuan tobacco area,based on the previous experiments,the field experiment of suitable nitrogen application rate,transplanting period,planting density and remaining leaves was carried out on the American flue-cured tobacco variety NC297.The baking characteristics were studied.On this basis,the demonstration of the NC297 was carried out in Jiang You,Zhao Hua and Wang Cang.The main results obtained by this study are as follows:1.Appropriate cultivation measures of flue-cured tobacco variety NC297 showed that under the conditions of this experiment,the weight of nitrogen fertilizer on NC297 was relatively large,which was more than 0.05,which had a significant influence on the agronomic traits,main chemical components,yield and the proportion of superior tobacco.With the increase of nitrogen application rate,the plant development and yield quality of NC297 increased.When the nitrogen application rate was about 90kg per hectare,the yield quality of tobacco leaves was better.In terms of planting density,16500 plants/hm~2 treatment can promote the growth and development of flue-cured tobacco fields,and its plant height,stem circumference and leaf area are more advantageous than 19500 plants/hm~2 treatment,and the yield is better.In terms of transplanting period,in the three transplanting treatments,the two transplanting periods on April 25 and April 30 were better in plant development than in April 20.Among them,when transplanted on April 25,the yield of the community and the proportion of medium and upper-class smoke were better.In terms of the number of leaves remaining,under the conditions of this experiment,there were no significant differences in the yield of the plot and the ratio of the middle and upper grades of the leaves,17 and 19 leaves.The development of the tobacco plants was treated with 21 leaves was better.The content of total sugar,reducing sugar,total nitrogen and nicotine in the three treatments is suitable,the content of potassium and chlorine is low,and the coordination of chemical components needs to be further improved.2.In terms of baking characteristics,the total water content of the NC297 leaves and the bound water content of the upper leaves were higher than that of Yunyan 87,and the wet-dry ratio was larger.Under the condition of black box,the water loss rate of the first 36h of NC297 fluctuated greatly.The proportion of leaf veins in the upper leaves of NC297 was lower than that of Yunyan 87,and the proportion of leaf veins in the middle leaves was slightly higher than that of Yunyan 87.The yellowing process of the leaves is similar to that of Yunyan 87,which turns yellow faster and the yellow remains longer.The degradation of NC297 leaf pigment was faster than that of Yunyan 87,and its carotenoid content was lower than that of Yunyan 87.The polyphenol oxidase activity of NC297 leaves peaked 36 hours after entering the dark box,24 hours later than cloud smoke,which may have adverse effects on color fixing.3.The small-scale demonstration results of NC297 in Jian Ge,Zhao Hua and Wang Cang showed that the development of tobacco plant,yield,output value,average price,coordination of chemical composition and sensory quality score of NC297 in Jiange demonstration site were better than those in Zhao Hua and Wang Cang demonstration site.NC297 is more suitable for application in the production of Jian Ge tobacco leaves.
