The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of adding compound additives to the diet on growth performance and meat quality of Songliao black swine.A total of 60 Songliao black swine with a body weight of about 70 kg were selected as the test subjects.The experimental animals were randomly divided into a control group and a test group according to the principle that the male and female had a half and similar weight.The control group was fed the basal diet,and the test group was fed the basal diet+2%compound additives?The main ingredients are vitamin C,vitamin E,betaine,etc.?,and the feeding period was 60 days.After the feeding experiment was completed,the growth performance,body scale index,slaughter performance,meat quality and blood parameters of the two groups were compared.The main results are as follows:Growth performance:The average daily gain of the test group was significantly increased?P<0.05?,and the average daily feed intake and feed intake/gain were reduced?P>0.05?.Body scale index:There was no significant difference in body measurements between the test group and the control group?P>0.05?,but the test group had an increase in the chest circumference and chest circumference index.Slaughter performance:Compared with the control group,the average backfat thickness in the test group was significantly decreased?P<0.05?,the area of the eye muscle was significantly increased?P<0.05?,and the trend of increasing the slaughter rate and lean meat rate?P>0.05?.Meat quality:the meat color score,meat color redness?a*?of the test group increasedsignificantly?P<0.05?,andshearforcedecreasedsignificantly?P<0.05?.PH45min,PH24h,drop water loss 24h,drop water loss 48h,and drop water loss72h also improved to some extent?P>0.05?.Visceral organ index:there was no significant difference in the index of liver,heart,spleen,lung and kidney in the visceral organs of the two groups?P>0.05?.Blood physiological index:The number of leukocytes and lymphocytes in the test group was higher than that in the control group?P<0.05?.The number of erythrocytes increased by 8.46%compared with the control group?P>0.05?.Blood biochemical index:The total protein,serum albumin,and high-density lipoprotein levels in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,with significant differences?P<0.05?.The content of urea nitrogen was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was extremely significant?P<0.01?.The content of total cholesterol and triglyceride was lower than that of the control group,the difference was significant?P<0.05?.Fatty acid content of longissimus dorsi muscle:There was no significant difference in fatty acid content between the test group and the control group?P>0.05?,but the polyunsaturated fatty acids in the test group increased by 12.77%.Amino acid content of longissimus dorsi muscle:Compound additive had no significant effect on the amino acid composition of longissimus muscle in Songliao black swine?P>0.05?,but the content of methionine,phenylalanine and arginine increased slightly?P>0.05?,and increased by 16.45%,7.28%,and 5.56%,respectively.The above results show that the addition of compound additives in the diet can improve the growth performance and meat quality swine in Songliao black swine.
