Investigation On The Application Of Crabapple Ornamental Fruit Trees In Landscaping

In this paper,Crabapple is taken as the research object.The application of different crabapple varieties in garden greening was studied;the application status of crabapple in the Research Institute,enterprise and park was studied.The ornamental characteristics,adaptability and resistance of crabapple were investigated,and the variety selection and garden in the garden greening were selected and garden.The theoretical basis is provided for the application form of forest greening and the breeding direction of fine varieties.The main results are as follows:1.Through literature and field investigation,it is found that crabapple is mostly applied in urban roads,parks,squares,affiliated green spaces and courtyards,and its application forms are row planting,solitary planting and cluster planting.2.By observing the characteristics and phenology of 10 crabapple in Liaoning Fruit Research Institute,from the aspects of flower,leaf,fruit and trunk of Crabapple,it is concluded that Flowers: The color contains the white and red,the flower type has single and semi double petals;Leaf: The color includes green,red and yellow lines,leaf size is different,flattened,edge sawtooth;Fruit: The color includes red and yellow,some Crabapple varieties have winter hanging fruit phenomenon;Tree: the tree posture is upright,semi open and open;Adaptability and resistance: Malus crabapple has adaptability,cold resistance and disease resistance,among which Malus crabapple is more resistant than traditional crabapple.In addition,the new varieties of Malus crabapple cultivated in the Institute have been used in landscaping,mainly in the three northeastern provinces.3.Through the investigation of the application status of Crabapple in enterprises,parks and botanical gardens,it is concluded the the widely used varieties of Chinese Crabapple Garden Greening are Feisehaiyang,Guanghui,Yasite,vertical silk,Xi Fu,Wangzu and Kate;The sales volume of seedlings of Haitang increased continuously from 2010 to 2017.In 2017,the number of seedling sales of Begonia was 110600;The spreading area of Crabapple is the three northeastern provinces of Shenyang and Dalian.The application forms of Begonia are specialized garden,flower border,group greening,cluster planting and row planting.4.There are still some problems in the application process of crabapple in landscape greening,such as the confusion of the variety name of the Begonia ect,In view of the above problems,this paper puts forward some feasible suggestions to establish unified standards ect.
