| With the improvement of people’s living standard in recent years,dogs are particularly keeping as pets in families.Thus diseases are gradually increased and dermatopathya become one of the most common diseases in dogs.Based on the skin characteristics of dogs,skin disease treatment periodicity is very long and easy to recurrence.Pruritus is the most common symptom in canine skin disease leading to a vicious circulation of "pruritus-scratch-inflammation ",which can aggravate skin disease and further induce a series of problems,such as increasing difficulty in diagnosis,difficult recovery for diseases and affecting the life of pet owners.In the present study,animal hospitals in different regions of S hijiazhuang were selected for the investigation from January 1,2019 to December 31,2019.The typical cases of pruritus dermatosis in dogs were selected for further treatment experiments.The antipruritic effects of the current popular antipruritic drugs were compared,and the physiological indexes,diagnosis interference test,side effect test and vaccine immune antibody effect test were compared using blood routine and biochemical examination.The characteristics of the antipruritic drugs were summarized,and the rational drugs for the treatment of dog pruritus skin diseases were screened preliminarily.5872 cases of dogs were consulted in hospitals of Shijiazhuang with 842 cases of dog pruritus in present study.The cases of dog pruritus accounted for 13% of all cases and 74% of skin disease cases.The incidence rate of parasitic diseases was the highest,followed by microorganism and the lowest incidence of allergic diseases.Seasonal epidemic characteristics of canine itching skin diseases were similar to those of skin diseases in different seasons.The incidence rate was obvious higher in May,June,July,August and September,and the lower incidence was in December,January and February compared with other months.Among the 842 dogs with pruritus,ratio of male to female was 1.37:1.At age,the incidence rate of pruritus in dogs under 1 years old was higher,and the incidence rate of dogs aged 5 or above was relatively lower in contrast.Among the 34 breeds,Golden Retriever,Poodle and Pine Lion were placed in order.The site of the disease was mainly distributed in limbs,ears and face,as which occurred in tails hardly seen.The results of the 14-day treatment trial showed that in the antipruritic effect,the mean score of pruritus in oclacitinib maleate group was reduced from 78 to 30,pruritus score of bonisonglong group was reduced from 76 to 28,and the placebo group with no significant changes.And oratinib maleate reacts faster than prednisolone.Blood routine and biochemical examination showed tha t more than 40% of the prednisolone treatment cases showed leukocytes,neutrophils,lymphocytes and monocytes decreased,and ALT、AST、ALP increased compare with control group.There was no difference between indexes of Oratinib maleate group and control gro up.Further proved prednisolone can affect inflammatory cell formation and liver functions.Among 53 dogs with prednisolone,more than half had the side effects of somnolence,polydrinking and polyuria.But no side effects were found in the oclacitinib maleate group.Oratinib maleate did not interfere with the detection Ig E dust mites in Ig E interference test.Oratinib maleate did not affect antibody production in the vaccine immune antibody production examinations,and more than 53% of dogs using prednisolone affected higher antibody production.Therefore,it is suggested to replace glucocorticoids such as prednisolone with oclacitinib maleate in the treatment of antipruritic drugs.Combined with the results of present study and the characteristics of dog p ruritus skin disease,the results can provide basis for the selection of antipruritic drugs in the treatment of pruritus skin disease,provide effective suggestions for the clinical diagnosis,treatment and prevention of dog pruritus skin disease in Shijiazhuang area. |
