Research On Monitoring Status And Construction Of Monitoring System Of Nature Reserves

The establishment of protected areas system with national parks as the main body indicates that China’s nature protection cause has entered a new era.With this opportunity,as a nature reserve established earlier,in greater numbers,with wider distribution,and with more difficult management,it is necessary to further strengthen scientific adjustment and strict management.This thesis conducts information mining on monitoring papers.Based on the bibliometric method,the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the scientific research status of monitoring in nature reserves.In addition,through questionnaire survey,the current monitoring management status and needs are analyzed.Based on the above research foundation,with the improvement of the management level of the protected area as a starting point,a monitoring system for nature reserves that is more in line with China’s characteristics and adapted to the actual situation of the nature reserve is established,and the system is carried out through field research and using Jiulongfeng Nature Reserve as a case study application.Finally,it puts forward suggestions for nature reserves monitoring in the future.The main research results of this thesis are as follows:(1)After more than 50 years of budding period and slow growth period,China’s natural protected areas monitoring research is currently in a period of rapid development and adjustment.Among them,nature reserves receive higher and sustained attention,papers accounting for 67%;There are imbalances between regions in the monitoring research areas,and the number of papers varies from 3 to 40;Biodiversity reflecting the status is a hotspot for monitoring research.Among them,the monitoring heat of birds and beasts is much higher than other indicators,while the human activity and ecological safety reflecting stress are of low concern.The average number of articles sent by each indicator is less than 10;Efficient and convenient emerging technologies will gradually replace traditional manual monitoring technology.(2)Through the interviewed samples,it was found that the monitoring conditions of the nature reserve are inadequate,which are reflected in: low personnel education and young strength;Lack of talents;limited monitoring facilities and equipment;no regular monitoring technical training;no separate and perfect monitoring management system;insufficient monitoring funds,etc.The monitoring work is not a system,and the work plan is not in place;the coverage of the monitoring content is different,and the importance of monitoring the pressure factors is low.The above situation hinders the systematic arrangement and development of monitoring to a certain extent.Finally,The order of monitoring needs is: funds>talents>project introduction>technical training>monitoring system>facilities and equipment>management system>work plan.(3)To clarify the current status of monitoring research and management,based on the PSR framework model,six principles and three major methods,put forward a framework for monitoring systems of nature reserves including biodiversity,ecological environment,human activities and ecological security.Take Jiulongfeng Nature Reserve in line with the above research status as an example,to improve the management level as a starting point,determine the key factors,and make full use of Jiulongfeng’s existing resource conditions,combine monitoring and daily work to build a more applicable monitoring system for Jiulongfeng Nature Reserve.
