China is a major grain producer.Grain storage safety is of vital importance to the national economy and people's livelihood.Different granary type have different effects on granary performance.But in the past research,impact of the performance for different granary type lacks of horizontal comparison and systematically collation.It is difficult to judge the situation that adapted to different granary type.By referring to the data,the relationship between the granary type and the performance of different granaries was concluded,and the influence of the granary type on the performance of granary was systematically summarized.Taking the selection and design of granary type in the project of Quanzhou urban central granary as an example.The major contributions of the work presented are listed as follows:(1)The granary types and properties are systematically elaborated,and effect of different performance(thermal insulation property,ventilation performance,water resistance,level of mechanization,energy-saving performance)for different granary type are summarized.(2)Analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is adopted to decompose performance into objectives,criteria,schemes and other levels and assign different weights to obtain the evaluation system of granary type selection.On this basis,qualitative and quantitative analysis decisions are made.(3)Taking the project of Quanzhou urban center granary as an example,the environmental conditions of the project are analyzed deeply,and the solutions are put forward to overcome the difficulties in the project.Analytic hierarchy process abovementioned are used to evaluate the selection of granary type,and the feasibility of AHP in granary engineering evaluation is verified.(4)A new type of self-breathing granary is put forward in the project of Quanzhou urban center granary,and the chimney effect produced by the self-breathing granary is analyzed theoretically.And we obtain the natural ventilation volume Q of unit floor area entering through the lower opening of the building and the natural ventilation q of unit floor area full heat transfer heat.At the same time,the relationship between Q,q and the top and bottom opening area of building is obtained.Thus,the best design scheme for ventilation and thermal insulation effect of the opening area and zoning can be obtained,and the disadvantages of the scheme are explained.It is a reference for the future granary design.
