Object: Pig breeding is the dominant animal husbandry industry in Karamay.With the development of animal husbandry in Karamay the stock of pigs has increased year by year,and more and more infectious diseases of pigs have occurred.which has brought considerable losses to the local pig industry..In order to understand the epidemic and control of foot-and-mouth disease(FMD),classical swine fever(CSF)and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS)in Karamay,pathogenic investigation,antibody detection and analysis were carried out to provide theoretical basis for the effective control of the three infectious diseases in this area.Methods: In this study,the three major infectious diseases of pigs in Karamay in 2017 and 2018 were investigated by real time RT-PCR.The immune antibodies of three diseases of pigs in Karamay city from autumn 2015 to spring 2018 were detected by ELISA,and the results were analyzed.The results of prevention and control of traditional veterinary service mode were compared with those of purchasing socialized veterinary service mode.On this basis,reasonable suggestions were provided for the effective prevention and control of three major infectious diseases in Karamay in the future.Results:(1)The real time RT-PCR method was used to investigate the epidemic situation of the three diseases in 2017 and 2018.The results showed that the positive rates of the three diseases were all 0.00%.It was known that there were no FMD,CSF and PRRS in Karamay in recent two years.(2)Under different breeding modes,the average qualified rates of antibodies against foot-and-mouth disease virus(FMDV),classical swine fever(CSFV)and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV)in the large scale pig farming were 92.41%,97.01% and 91.72% respectively,which were significantly higher than those of 71.68%,81.38% and 82.94% in the backyard mode.The results showed that there were significant differences in antibody levels among the three major infectious diseases in the backyard mode,but no significant differences among the large scale pig farming.(3)Under different regions,the antibodies levels of the three infectious diseases in the agricultural comprehensive development zone were relatively high,with the qualified rates of 95.35%,88.50% and 99.53% respectively,followed by the Baijiantan area.The qualified rates of the antibodies levels of the three infectious diseases were 91.36%,89.30% and 98.10% respectively.The main reason was that the Baijiantan area and the Agricultural Comprehensive Development Zone had implemented purchasing socialized veterinary service mode,which improved the quality and efficiency of infectious diseases control and prevention.(4)In different years,the qualified rate of FMD antibody increased from 75.96% in 2015 to 94.56% in 2018.The qualified rate of CSF and PRRS antibody showed a curve change from low to high and then to low,mainly because FMD has been regarded as an animal disease of compulsory national immunization.In 2017,the state no longer implemented compulsory immunization policy against CSF and PRRS.(5)By comparing the two modes of veterinary service,the results showed that the level of antibodies against FMDV increased by about 10 percentage,and the immune density of FMD,CSF and PRRS in purchasing socialized veterinary service mode reached more than 99%,nearly 10 percentage higher than that in the traditional mode;By random sampling the,qualified rate of immune antibodies against three kinds of infectious diseases in purchasing socialized veterinary service mode was higher than that in the traditional veterinary service mode.The qualified rate was increased by 10-15 percentage,the waste rate of vaccines was reduced by nearly 5 percentage compared with the traditional mode,and the stress mortality rate of compulsory immunization animals was reduced by nearly three times compared with the traditional mode.Conclusion:(1)Antigen detection confirmed that no FMD,CSF and PRRS occurred in Karamay in recent two years.(2)Under different breeding modes,the qualified rate of the three infectious disease antibodies in the large scale pig farming was higher than that in backyard modes.(3)In different regions,the levels of three kinds of epidemic disease antibodies in Baijiantan and Agricultural Comprehensive Development Zone were significantly higher than those in other three regions.(4)In different years,the antibody level of CSF and PRRS showed a curve change from low to high and then to low,while the antibody level of FMD showed an increasing trend year by year.(5)Comparing the two different veterinary service modes,the purchasing socialized veterinary service mode was significantly better than the traditional veterinary service mode.
