Objective:To achieve the maximum utilization of Dreg of Chinese Traditional Medicine. Methods: 1.Cultivated species of Pleurotus ostreatus were obtained by separating and purifling the fruiting body tissue of edible fungi;2.The best formula of the medium were optimized by Orthogonal experiment.3.Nutritional components and safety of Pleurotus ostreatus were evaluated;4.The total flavonoid in Epimedium dregs was determined by using UV-Vis spectrophotometry and biotransformation of Flavonoids by Pleurotus ostreatus was analysised by thin layer chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography;5.The biodegradation and the relative feed value(RFV)the cultivated substrate were studied by testing fiber components.Result:1.In this experiment,high-quality oyster mushroom cultivars were obtained;2.We have determined two the optimized mediums for Pleurotus ostreatus by orthogonal experiment. One is,280 g of dregs of Herba Epimedium,60 g Corn cob,28 g cornmeal,4g calcium, and another is,320 g of dregs of Tianma Lingzhi mixture,80 g corn cob,20 g corn flour,4g calcium;3.By comparing Pleurotus ostreatus fruit body in general medium and the optimized medium that contained the dregs of Herba Epimedium and Its Compound,we proved that the Pleurotus ostreatus grown in optimized medium was nutritious and heavy metal content was lower than edible fungus standard;4.Small-molecule active ingredients in the dregs of Herba Epimedium have not been transfered to Pleurotus ostreatus fruit body;5.Pleurotus ostreatus has good biodegradation effect on the two kinds of Chinese medicine residue used in this article. The first-class degradation rate is about 20 %-50 %.Besides, after the cultivation of edible fungi,The relative herbage value of the medium of Herba Epimedium and Its Compound Dregs increased from 63.8 % and 61.9 % to 112.6 % and 98.0 %,respectively. Conclusion: The results demonstrated the fungus degrading ability and its potential use in Dreg of Chinese Traditional Medicine conversion biomass into food, which provides important reference value for the comprehensive utilization of traditional Chinese medicine residue resources.
