BackgroundChinese women belong to the yellow race,whose racial characteristics determine the basic morphological basis of the nose,Typical examples are "bulbous nose","upside down nose",etc.,the nasal back is low and flat,the nasal column is short,the nasal wings are wide,and the nasal tip is round and blunt.With contemporary expectations of beauty,many Chinese women seeking beauty are willing to put up with the risk of surgery to get plastic surgery.For the yellow race,the improvement of rhinoplasty is more significant in facial surgery,because the face is visually occupied by the nose,and the tip of the nose is the most prominent part.In particular,the stilt nose has a distinct nasal profile compared to the Caucasian,as opposed to a low,flat,blunt nose.Although the plastic surgery of augmentation rhinoplasty ideas are endless,filling materials have their own merits and demerits.Among the many transplantation materials,only the autologous tissue is the most suitable one.ObjectiveUsing autologous costal cartilage to construct nasal tip "L" type composite scaffold,this paper applied it to Chinese female augmentation rhinoplasty and studied its improvement effect on nasal tip aesthetic structure.MethodsFrom January 2014 to January 2019,42 beauty seekers who underwent nose augmentation with the autogenous costal cartilage nasal tip "L" type composite bracket were randomly selected in the department of the author.they were all female and the Han nationality,they come from several provinces in China,including LiaoNing,HeBei,HeNan,HuNan and GuangDong.The 42 beauty seekers were healthy,ranging in the age from 22 to 35,with an average age of 26.The 7th rib cartilage on the right side was used as the nasal augmentation material,part of which was cut and spliced to form the nasal tip "L" type composite bracket to raise the nasal tip.At the same time,in order to increase the overall nasal line natural fluency,the nasal dorsum was raised with silicone material.However,this research analysised the effect of nasal tip "L" type composite stent on the improvement of nasal tip morphological indexes,which is the only purpose of this study.Collect the preoperative and postoperative instant photo material by retrospective analysis.Measure and calculate the nasal tip width/nasal width,nasal tip width/nasal root width,nasal columella width/nasal width,nasal tip projection,nasolabial Angle,ATC Angle(alar base-nasal tip-columellar base angle)before and after surgery by using the software,after finishing data,use statistical methods to analyze whether the differences of tip aesthetics ratio and Angle is statistically significant or not.ResultsThe included 42 beauty seekers had a good postoperative recovery without nasal distortion,deformity and other complications,and the morphology of nasal tip was significantly improved.Here are the results after comparing the indicators of the relevant nasal tip indicators before and after surgery immediately(Unit: centimeter):The preoperative nasal tip width/nasal width =0.55±0.04 was smaller than the immediate postoperative nasal tip width/nasal width =0.53±0.03,the difference between them was significant statistically(P=0.005,P<0.05).The preoperative nasal tip width/nasal root width =1.14±0.04 was smaller than the immediate postoperative nasal tip width/nasal root width =1.11±0.06,the difference between them was significant statistically(P=0.000,P<0.05).The preoperative nasal columella width/nasal width =0.20±0.02,compared with the immediate postoperative nasal columella width/nasal width =0.22±0.03,the proportion increased,the difference between them was significant statistically(P= 0.004,P<0.05).The preoperative nasal cusp degree =0.56±0.03 was larger than the immediate postoperative nasal cusp degree =0.60±0.07,the difference between them was significant statistically(P= 0.002,P<0.05).The preoperative nasolabial Angle =106.88±4.40 was larger than the immediate postoperative nasolabial Angle =110.07±4.93,the difference between them was significant statistically(P= 0.000,P<0.05).The preoperative ATC Angle =37.88±2.69 was smaller than the immediate postoperative ATC Angle =36.17±2.68,the difference between them was significant statistically(P= 0.000,P<0.05).ConclusionConclusions can be drawn after the measurement and comparison of preoperative and postoperative picture data of 42 previous Chinese female beauty seekers randomly selected:Autogenous costal cartilage tip "L" type composite scaffolds in Chinese female hump nose operation can Increase the nasal tip projection,increase the Angle of nasolabial Angle,increase the ratio of nasal columella width to nasal width,decrease the ratio of nasal tip width to nasal root width,decrease the ratio of nasal tip width to nasal width,and reduce the Angle of ATC Angle.It can obviously improve the nasal tip indicators,reach the Chinese beautiful female crowd nasal tip indicators.
