Clinical Study On Effect Of Shengmaisan Jiawei On Noin-Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy

Objective:The paper is to research the clinical efficacy and safety of Shengmaisan Jiawei in the treatment of qi-yin deficiency and venous resistance type Non-proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy.Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria of Non-proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy,60 patients(from the endocrine department and eye department of Shanxi Province Integrative Medicine Hospital)were selected and randomized and controlled.30 patients(50 eyes)in the treatment group were given Shengmaisan Jiawei,decoction 400 ml(200 ml each morning and evening);30 patients(53 eyes)in the control group received calcium Dobesilate capsules(0.5 g tid).The course of treatment is 12 weeks.The patient's vision,fundus,TCM syndrome scores,and changes in liver and kidney function were used to objectively evaluate the treatment effect of the treatment group and the control group.Results:1)After treatment,in the improvement of visual acuity,the effective rates of the treatment group and the control group respectively were 52% and 52.8%;there was no statistical difference in efficacy between the two groups(P>0.05).In the improvement of fundus(microhemangioma,exudation and bleeding),the total effective rate was 50% in the treatment group and 47.2% in the control group.There was no significant difference in efficacy between the groups(P>0.05).2)After comparison between groups,the scores of TCM syndromes in the treatment group and the control group were lower than before(P<0.05),the effective rate in the treatment group was 86.6%,and the effective rate in the control group was 43.4%.After statistical analysis,the efficacy between the two groups had Statistical differences(P<0.05).After comparison within the group,the symptom scores of the treatment group were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the scores before and after the treatment of lumbar and knee softness and self-sweat in the control group.Blurred vision,eye dryness,tiredness and irritability were improved than before.3)The two groups of subjects before and after treatment,liver function and renal function did not exceed the normal range,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P> 0.05).No serious adverse reactions occurred during the observation in both groups of subjects.Conclusion:Shengmaisan Jiawei is similar to calcium dobesilate in improving visual acuity and improving microhemangioma,exudation and bleeding.The effect of Shengmaisan Jiawei on the improvement of TCM syndromes is better than that of calcium dobesilate.Shengmaisan Jiawei has good safety.
