Objective: Oral lichen planus(OLP)is a chronic mucosal skin inflammatory disease.OLP lesions have certain recurrence.Although many attempts have been made in the past few years to elucidate the etiology and pathogenesis of OLP,The pathogenesis of the disease is not fully known. The etiology and mechanism of the disease are still being studied.OLP has certain cancerous potential.OLP has been classified as a precancerous state by the World Health Organization(WHO).The pathogenesis of oral lichen planus has been paid more and more attention by scholars. In recent years, the etiology of oral lichen planus cancer has not been determined at home and abroad, and has been under investigation. In order to explore the pathogenesis of carcinogenesis of oral lichen planus and the important role of bFGF/FGFR2,BCL-2,P53 in the process of carcinogenesis,In this study, tissue microarray and immunohistochemistry were used to study the expression of bFGF/FGFR2,BCL-2 and P53 protein in normal oral mucosa, oral lichen planus and oral squamous cell carcinoma. To detect the difference of bFGF/FGFR2,BCL-2 and P53 expression in three different tissues, and to explore the relationship between bFGF/FGFR2,BCL-2,P53 and carcinogenesis of oral lichen planus.Result:The results of immunohistochemical staining showed:1.The expression of bFGF in oral squamous cell carcinoma was higher than that in oral lichen planus and normal oral mucosa. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The erosive and non-erosive OLP were statistically different.2.The expression of FGFR2 in oral squamous cell carcinoma was higher than that in oral lichen planus and normal oral mucosa. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between erosive and non-erosive OLP.3.The expression of BCL-2 in oral squamous cell carcinoma, oral lichen planus and normal oral mucosa increased sequentially, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference between erosive and non-erosive OLP.4.The expression of P53 in oral squamous cell carcinoma, oral lichen planus and normal oral mucosa increased in turn, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the erosive and non-erosive OLP were statistically different. Conclusion: The expression of bFGF/FGFR2,BCL-2 and P53 increased in oral normal mucosa, oral lichen planus and oral squamous cell carcinoma, suggesting that bFGF/FGFR2,BCL-2 and P53 may be involved in the process of oral lichen planus cancer becoming oral squamous cell carcinoma. It has a close relationship with oral lichen planus cancer and plays an important role.It may become an early biomarker for the carcinogenesis of oral lichen planus.
