Objective:Through randomized controlled trail(RCT),we want to use the bleeding therapy combined with fire needle to treat facial corticosteroid dependent dermatitis to observe the clinical efficacy and recurrence rate, comparing with the common western medicine, and provide a new possible for traditional Chinese medicine to cure facial corticosteroid dependent dermatitis, then laying a foundation for acupuncture to improve the discomforts of FCDD Methods:This study divided 74 cases with facial corticosteroid dependent dermatitis into the treatment group 37 patients and the control group 37 patients through the randomized controlled method. The bleeding therapy combined with fire needle treating the treatment group,at the same as the control group treated by tropical tacrolimus ointment for 4 weeks, then the treatment was over after 4 weeks.Based on the related literature information for the past few years,we formulated standard symptom integrals?dermatology life quality index(DLQI)which were regarded as curative effect evaluation indicators, then observed and calculated subjective symptoms and objective indexes and the improvement of the quality of life before treatment?after weekly treatment and 1 month after treatment in both groups, and analyzed the data to determine the clinical curative effect of life quality improvement and the recurrence rate.Research Results:(1)There was no statistical significance between the two groups in age?sex?the time using corticosteroids and quality of life(P>0.05).And the two groups could observe comparable.(2)After the treatment, there was no statistical significance about the overall response and the cure rate in tow groups,P>0.05,which means that both the bleeding therapy combined with fire needle and tropical tacrolimus ointment worked in treating facial corticosteroid dependent dermatitis.(3)After the treatment,it was indeed significantly different between the treatment group and the control group about DLQI,P<0.05,with statistical significance, which means the treatment group was better at improve the patients' quality of life.(4)After the treatment, comparing with the control group, the patients from febrile index?itch degree?swelling sensation?pain?acne?papula?empyesis and lesion area were significantly different,P<0.05,with statistical significance, which means the treatment group was better at improving most symptoms of FCDD.(5)After the treatment, comparing with the bleeding therapy combined with fire needle, the patients from drying detritus?spiloplaxia?swelling sensation and dry wrinkle feeling, were significantly different,P<0.05,with statistical significance, which means the response about drying detritus?spiloplaxia?swelling sensation and dry wrinkle feeling was better for the control group.(6)The recurrence rate:over the therapy, patients were followed up for 1 month. The result was significantly different(P < 0.05),with statistical significance, which shows that the long-term effects of the treatment group surpass the control group. Conclusion:The curative effect was obvious about the bleeding therapy combined with fire needle in treating FCDD,and it can improve the patients' symptoms and the quality of life.Meanwhile it has the advantages of low recurrence rate, less adverse reactions and relative safety, which has opened new doors to treat FCDD.
