Background: Facial topical corticosteroid dependent dermatitisis facial inflammatory disease caused by long-term use ofglucocorticoid. It is long cause, repeated attack and damaging. Thepatients’ quality of life is seriously affected. The main treatmentsare stop the using of glucocorticoid, antihistamine,anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and treatment according to symptoms. The major topical drags are calcineurin inhibitor (CNI),non-steroidal anti-infammatory drugs (NASID) and so on.Objective: To compare the effect and cost of3kinds of commontopical drugs in the treatment of facial topical corticosteroiddependent dermatitis.Methods:108patients are enroll in the study. Patients arerandomly assigned to3groups: the velvetfeeling group, thehyperoxidation ion water group and the tacrolimus group. Except thedrugs above, moisturizer and epinastine are used in all of the3groups.The total course is4weeks, we measure and compare the score of eachpatient at the start of treatment, the second week of the treatmentand the forth week of the treatment. Compare the cost of3group atthe end of the4weeks treatment. Results: After the treatment the score of the velvetfeeling groupis obviously lower than the hyperoxidation ion water group (P<0.05).The score(P<0.05) and efficacy(χ~2=10.731, P<0.017) of thetacrolimus group is obviously better than the hyperoxidation ionwater group. The differences of score(P>0.05) and efficacy(χ~2=0.054,P>0.017) between the velvetfeeling group and the tacrolimusgroup are not significant. To obtain the same efficacy, the tacrolimusgroup cost (C/E=10.22)more than the velvetfeeling group (C/E=8.02).Conclusion:1.In the treatment of facial topical corticosteroiddependent dermatitis, both velvetfeeling and tacrolimus can get goodefficacy, the cost of velvetfeeling is lower.2. Hyperoxidationg ionwater can be used in the treatment of facial topical corticosteroiddependent dermatitis.
