The application of virtual reality technology in the intervention training for children with autism is a new field in recent years.Many researches at home and abroad have proved the applicability of virtual reality technology in the intervention training for autism.Compared with traditional methods of intervention training for autism,interventions of virtual reality technology have the advantages of security,the solution of multi-source perception barriers,and emphasis on visual skills.Defects in social skills are the core flaws of children with autism.They not only cause more developmental obstacles to children with autism,but more importantly hinder their establishment of socially significant relationships.Therefore,it is of great significance to research on the virtual reality technology of social skills intervention training for children with autism.This thesis first investigated the application status of virtual reality technology in intervention training for children with autism at home and abroad,and then research on virtual reality technology of autistic children's social skills intervention training based on the WorldViz platform.Finally,this thesis designed and implemented the program for autistic children's emotional understanding skills,life skills,social communication skills intervention training.The main work of this thesis is summarized in the following sections:(1)Design scheme of autistic children's social skills intervention training.Firstly,we designed the specific content of the training program according to the design principles and intervention methods of the autisic children's social skills training program,and then analyzed the hardware and software requirements of the training program.Finally,we proposed the development process and architecture design of the system scheme.(2)Implemention of the interactive program for autistic children's social skills training.Firstly,we used the modeling software and image processing software to build the scene model.Then we used the development module in Vizard to write the program and realized the character control and task flow in the virtual scene.At the same time,we combined the natural interaction technology of somatosensory interaction and voice interaction to realize the interactive part of the program for autistic children's social skills training.(3)Feasibility analysis and testing of the scheme.When introducing the experimental method,this thesis first explained the purpose and the applicable object of the research,and then introduced the assessment methods and the related evaluation materials in the experiment.In the analysis of the feasibility of the scheme,we first performed program testing including functional testing,picture quality testing,and interface performance testing,mainly through the two computers running the server and the client respectively.Then we used the assessment scale in the experiment to illustrate the scheme's feasibility.
