Objective:By comparing the difference of clinical manifestation,quality of life,depression and anxiety between patients with NDS and non-carrier PU,the relationship between compound TCM syndrome NDS and PU was discussed.The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for the study of the correlation between PU and NDS and the formulation of regional strategies for the prevention and treatment of PU.Methods:The severity of NDS was evaluated by Northwest dryness Syndrome Metrological scale of Patient Reported Outcomes?PRO-symptom part?and the pathological characteristics of PU were evaluated by 14C examination and gastroscopy.SF-36 brief Health Survey scale was used to evaluate the quality of life,and Hamilton Depression scale?HAMD?and Anxiety scale?HAMA?were used to evaluate depression and anxiety,respectively.A total of129 PU patients from the Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and the Department of traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Urumqi,Xinjiang in 2018 were selected as subjects.The differences of symptom severity,HP infection rate,ulcer manifestation quality of life,depression and anxiety between patients with and without PU were compared,and the relationship between NDS and PU was analyzed.Result:?1?the attack rate of NDS in129 patients with PU was 30.23%,and the sexual differences certainly exist in the research?P<0.05?;?2?the clinical symptoms of PU were more severe in the carrier type than in the non-carrier type?P<0.05?;?3?compared with the non-carrier type,most of the patients with PU had active ulcer stage under gastroscopy?P<0.05?,and the degree of depression and anxiety was more severe than that of the non-carrier type.?4?the quality of life of patients with carrier PU was lower than that of non-carrier patients,mainly in bodily pain,health,vitality,social functioning and mental health?P<0.05?.Conclusion:The main results were as follows:?1?the sexual differences certainly exist in the research.?2?the condition of PU patients with carrier syndrome was more severe than that of non-carrier type,and most of the ulcer stages under gastroscopy were active,accompanied by decreased quality of life and increased degree of depression and anxiety.?3?Northwest dryness syndrome,with regional dryness as the main pathogenic factor,is a risk factor for the aggravation of PU patients in Urumqi,so there is a practical basis for the treatment of PU from the prevention and treatment strategy of northwest dryness syndrome.
